Played the entire game. Took about 5 hours. Feels like a game that was developed for "cool visuals" and set pieces first. I was left with more questions than answers. Do not play for the "story". Only play for the atmosphere and coop gameplay. For $10-$20 it would be a very good coop experience indeed. So if its on sale and you have someones to play it with I do recommend it, especially if you enjoy this kind of atmosphere. For $40 I cannot recommend it. Also had to experience some bugs like desyncs or game breaking bugs that required reloading the last save. Overall it comes nowhere close to the insane coop experiences that games like It Takes Two or Split Fiction provide. But it's not a bad game.

This is a difficult one to review. I loved the previous Little Nightmares games so was excited for this one. My main issue with this is that, whilst it is incredibly atmospheric, it feels so much more disjointed than the Little Nightmares games which always felt like they existed in their own world. Here it feels like they had a meeting and brainstormed a bunch of really cool looking set piece moments and they just stitched them together with no real connecting thread. You go from woodland, to flooded city, to wartime trenches with really quick transitions and it feels really scattered. Playing local-co-op we also had the constant issue that the game would keep switching which character was controlled by which controller which makes things even more confusing. Overall it's really good for the atmosphere and the set piece moments themselves. I just wish everything felt a bit more cohesive. I grabbed it at full price and when everything was over I mostly just missed the previous games.
