About
The original creators of Little Nightmares™ & Little Nightmares™ II have returned to take you on a more terrifying journey than ever before. In this co-op horror adventure game, you play as a brother & sister who go through hell to rescue their missing friends. Exploring by boat and on land, you must use your wits to survive, work together to escape the hellish island, and the dark secret that haunts you.
In this unsettling tale, the emphasis is on tension and thick atmosphere, as you join the two orphans on a desperate search for hope and redemption in the direst of circumstances.
Traverse an intriguing but terrifying world, where the main path is only one part of the fragmented story. Discover all sorts of mysterious locations on your perilous journey, each with its own story to tell.
Tarsier Studios is bringing their unique visual style to bear on a whole host of new twisted monsters and broken, yet resilient, child characters. Fragments of the children's troubled past have been used as inspiration for their character design, and for the monsters that now torment them.
Nobody should be forced to go through hell alone! Fully playable in single player and local & online co-op, REANIMAL has a shared, directed camera, designed to maximise claustrophobia and tension.

No hate 10/10 love everything about! got my money worth!
if you're looking for cinematic horror game to Co-op through, this is an OK choice. But, kinda meh otherwise. The main issues with the game are that it's not very mechanically engaging, and it's not very satisfying in its ending, by leaving a bit too much up to interpretation. Me and my player 2 had a quick debrief during the credits and while we had positive feelings about the themes, the plot is a little too loose. Gameplay sections where you die quickly if you make a mistake during a puzzle section could be a bit on the "mean and unforgiving" side, where we'd get stuck on geometry or just visible in a way that wasn't clear, or like an innocuous object that gets you killed, leading to my player 2 getting mad. I thought it was OK, but overall the puzzles weren't good enough and the cheap deaths not funny enough to outweigh the annoyance of resetting a room that many times to get to the next section. Getting lost or missing the way forward can also eat up a lot of time in larger areas, that feel like they need better instructions to keep the game moving. The cool horror set-pieces and level art are the best parts and the glue that ultimately keep you playing. Overall, 3/5 game. Play during the Halloween season maybe.

Amazing game, Played it with my brother and had a wonderful time! I've always been a huge fan of the Little Nightmares Series and this one definitely was a good addition. I thoroughly enjoyed each minute of it Only thing I don't like is the price, I would suggest you get it while its on sale, but otherwise I love the game Tarsier and THQ Nordic!
waste of money
The game is very short, only around 4-6 hours depending on how fast you figure out puzzles or fail chase sequences. There's a lot to explore and many secrets to find, but it's hard to tell which random dark alleyway leads to a secret hat and which random dark alleyway leads to the rest of the story. We had the game lock doors on us to prevent backtracking, even though it wasn't clear that the direction we picked was the way forward. We tried to take side paths to find secrets and only ended up with about 10 posters and 5 hats or-so. It doesn't really encourage exploration other than when it just sort of puts you on the boat and says "have fun!". However, I think it's a good game. Not 40$ good, not even close, but the price doesn't make it a bad game. My PC is an absolute potato, so it had severe performance issues, but I still made it through to the ending and only really had slideshow moments at the very end when the visuals were turned up to 11. The horror was top notch honestly. Every enemy that chases you down made my stomach churn and if you have a phobia, REAnimal exploits it. Thalassophobia? Got it. Large creatures? You know it. SMALL creatures? Yessir. Empty human skin that slithers across the floor like a puppet with no strings? Sure, whatever, they don't care. The puzzles were fine. A few were kind of head-scratchy, but both times I had to look up a walkthrough, honestly, me and my friend were just being dumb. They're good and intuitive, you should be able to figure most of them out within 1 death or 0. Chase sequences as well, a few had some ? moments where it was kind of hard to tell where to go, but you learn what the signs are for where to run to pretty fast if you're not familiar with Little Nightmares' method of leading the player to objectives. Overall, very good. I don't think it's worth full price, because I don't think most games are worth full price these days, but from an OBJECTIVE standpoint? Awesome. Grotesque, nasty story that pulls no punches and socks you right in the gut and fun, interactive gameplay with spooky, dark environments to set good atmosphere. I'll be very excited to see what else the developer of Little Nightmares cooks up next if this is what's to come.
Don't buy this game at a ridiculous $40 price tag for only 4 hours of playtime. Even $20 is too much. Story has many pieces that are up to interpretation which gets very annoying and leaves me unsatisfied with the experience. However, the sound design and atmosphere are cool but even so...it doesn't justify the price tag.
Brutal.
