About
The original creators of Little Nightmares™ & Little Nightmares™ II have returned to take you on a more terrifying journey than ever before. In this co-op horror adventure game, you play as a brother & sister who go through hell to rescue their missing friends. Exploring by boat and on land, you must use your wits to survive, work together to escape the hellish island, and the dark secret that haunts you.
In this unsettling tale, the emphasis is on tension and thick atmosphere, as you join the two orphans on a desperate search for hope and redemption in the direst of circumstances.
Traverse an intriguing but terrifying world, where the main path is only one part of the fragmented story. Discover all sorts of mysterious locations on your perilous journey, each with its own story to tell.
Tarsier Studios is bringing their unique visual style to bear on a whole host of new twisted monsters and broken, yet resilient, child characters. Fragments of the children's troubled past have been used as inspiration for their character design, and for the monsters that now torment them.
Nobody should be forced to go through hell alone! Fully playable in single player and local & online co-op, REANIMAL has a shared, directed camera, designed to maximise claustrophobia and tension.

naturally, this has to be compared to little nightmares 1 and 2, and sadly it just falls so, so short of those two games. the art direction feels bland, the enemies are generic/relatively uninteresting, puzzles/chase scenes are uninspired, and the story is just whatever. i feel like they had to rush this game out -- or maybe they were just missing whoever or whatever contributed to the incredibly strong art, story, and gameplay direction evident in little nightmares 1 and 2.

Super fun game, watch game theory after. Main story is short.

Creepy atmosphere and brilliant graphics/sound what a wonderful short indie game to play with a friend.
Keep it simple, matching previous output.Even though I’ve only played the demo so far, REANIMAL is already shaping up to be an absolute masterpiece of co-op horror. It completely captures that signature, deeply unsettling atmosphere Tarsier Studios perfected in Little Nightmares, but dials the dread up with an even darker, more claustrophobic twist. Playing this with a friend is incredibly tense—the shared camera and grotesque monster designs make you feel genuinely helpless, and relying on each other to survive adds so much weight to every frantic escape. It’s visually stunning, profoundly creepy, and the puzzles feel incredibly rewarding to figure out together. If this demo is just a small taste of the hellish island the full game has to offer, then this is easily going to be one of the most memorable horror experiences of the year.
first game to have a scene where i start crying just thinking about it
Really fun with friends, interesting story, it does disconnect often when you're playing with friends but overall amazing experience
