really fun, love the aesthetic choices for the outfits and so on. lookign forward to act 2. played it on my steamdeck.
I'll most likely update the review when the entire game is complete but for Act 1 now, I think the game is really promising and hope the developer can develop upon the weaker part of the game. Visual and animation in game and cut scene are really special especially with goba whenever he's on screen, the content in the game is pretty varied and even a mini fighting game to boot. The combat is pretty silly in a fun way as it does lean towards dmc5 in terms of combat (specifically in the air ) with enemies that won't pose a real challenge but will try to put up a fight regardless.IF i had to say one weak element of the game it'll be the limited puzzle and the puzzles that are here are not very strong, once you spot a puzzle you already know how to approach it instead of taking a bit to see how each part will go into the next. They aren't bad but are weak in comparison to the many good parts of the game and hope they can be improved in both quantity and qaulity. Overall the game is fun for it's length and excited to see what the following act have in store.
The full metal Legend of Jojos bizarre alchemist may cry
Carter's quest is an amazing little experience that just keeps pushing the envelope as you keep playing, its weird, its funny and its stylish, also banger OST PLEASE PUT THE OST ON YOUTUBE!!!!!! ITS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait for the rest of the story ! So far it's only quite short (4hrs while exploring everything) but what it has gives me great hope for the future, it has a lot of great ideas that I haven't seen anywhere else and I'm sure act 2 will be just as good (if not better !) It's still a bit rough in some areas (especially the camera) but it doesn't impede on the enjoyment I had with it. I'd love more complex puzzles tho !
one of the best games ever made, period.
I love this game! I love the characters, their design and their fruitiness! Many other players in the review section made good points about the imperfections of the game at its current state and I agree with them - however, I love it anyway! Please give it a try and support the dev! I can't wait for the next act!
There's some real sauce here. I love the dmc style combat controls and the cool little buddy helping for dungeons and combat. The animations and cutscenes are very lovingly made. I feel compelled to explore because I keep finding cool side areas and things to do. Please pick this up if it interests you!
It's a little Zelda, a little Bayonetta. It does need more work, but the dev is hard at work and posting to twitter about it so that's good. Give it a chance! Just do use a controller, at least for me the mouse camera sensitivity was messed up.
I don't know about this one. There's some interesting stuff here but for every positive there seem to be two negatives. Like the cutscenes are pretty cool but the writing is really rough and everything seems very incoherent. Like there are a bunch of ideas but there is no glue to hold them together. Also honestly think this game could do without the combat. It would be so much better if it did one thing good instead of 4 things half baked. It was pretty hype though when Carter popped his titties out.
