Its way too expensive, cant even save. Little variety, late game kinda boring. Good idea but 17,49€ cmon man
Absolutely not worth the price. If it were up for 3-5 dollars, I'd say go ahead and muck with it.
Game breaking bugs. Unfairly balanced units. Unfriendly interface which never gives the information you need. Heavy reliance on RNG, which removes fun from the game entirely. No real sense of accomplishment, especially since if you're doing well it often is because RNGesus is smiling on you, so not skill. What skill there is...has an abysmally low ceiling. TL;DR not worth it.
Game was great until it would no longer play and it is impossible to get a hold of the creator. It just opens to the first screen, then immediately crashes. Running a 3090 and I9, so I know it's not on my end.
I was worried about getting this game due to the negative reviews and lagginess that is being reported, however, I love this game! I got it last week and I've already played it for way longer than I should have. It's such a creative twist on your usual tower defense game. The game is also quite difficult and it takes a while to get to the point where you can survive the late game. I love the idea that you upgrade a skill tree the more you win; which helps you to get further into the late game. If you want to see more game play before making your decision, I recommend watching videos on Youtube from "The Real Civil Engineer". EDIT 1/30/2023: I have been playing the game for about a month now and there have already been 3 bug fix patches and additions to the game! Thank you so much to the dev team for updating so often and listening to your community.
I don't regret buying it but I can't recomend it either. I really like the mechanic of building the road and a deck of towers. I like the idea of different terrains with different pros/cons. BUT: The game feels pretty imbalanced. And very, very laggy. You have to invest a few hours for each run and you can't save your progress. There were two hotfixes but I doupt that the main issues will ever be fixed. I still hope that I will be proven wrong.
While the game is fun in the beginning I would not consider this a finished game and can not recommend to buy this game for 16 €. The difficulty curve is broken and the lag in the later levels is immense. In the beginning the game is quite tricky and fun, a lot of new strategeis are to explore. The beginning is quite dependent on luck. With the right types of merchants you can get pretty far. This completely gets turned around as soon as you unlock the marketplace, after that the merchants are not important at all. After that the game becomes very boring as you just have to wait for the end of the round and the next marketplace to upgrade the towers. Also it gets very slow around level 70 or so, because of immense lag. It becomes an idle game. I once bet level 100, but that was so boring that I definetely won't do it again. The game becomes broken as soon as the tinkerers and the marketplace are active. I think this has to be overworked to have a progressing difficulty curve. The curve was very promising in the beginning, but disappointing later. Also the lag has to be addressed.

After the new update (28.10.2023) this is now one of my favorite TDs. The update fixes the lag problem, adds a new tower and a lot of balance changes. Clear recommendation if you like TDs :)
Was fun until I lost the game and became soft-locked because it wouldn't end so basically an hour game amounted to nothing. I tried restarting same issue. Game isn't playable if I cant die as I can't get new unlocks.
