Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Jul 26 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

In Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator, you take on the everyday responsibilities of a park ranger in the stunning Faremont National Park. Keep the park running, protect the local ecosystem, and support the people who visit it.
Handle a wide range of ranger duties and ensure park rules are respected. One moment, you may be completing routine maintenance. The next, you could be searching for a missing hiker or responding to an urgent wildlife callout.
Faremont’s diverse landscape stretches from dense forests and open meadows to winding rivers. Use your ranger vehicles to travel along the park’s road network and reach remote areas filled with waterfalls, rock formations, and scenic viewpoints.
Protecting Faremont’s wildlife is one of your most important responsibilities. Track animals across the wilderness, rescue wildlife in distress, and secure traps before they can cause further harm. Use specialized ranger equipment to follow signals, safely approach animals, and respond to each situation with care.
From elusive wolves and imposing bison to mischievous raccoons, a diverse range of wildlife brings Faremont National Park to life. Observe animal behavior through your camera, discover new species, and expand your personal wildlife lexicon as you explore.
Your responsibility also extends to Faremont’s visitors. Guide hikers, check permits, respond to emergencies, and investigate suspicious behavior. Handle incidents such as vandalism, prohibited items, littering, or disturbances to keep the park safe and welcoming.
Beyond urgent callouts, you’ll inspect plant health, remove invasive growth, restore affected areas, clean campsites, restock supplies, and transport materials across the park. Every completed task contributes to your park rating, unlocking new missions and equipment as your ranger career progresses.

The game is still in Early Access, so bear (pun intended) that in mind. There's definitely some room for improvement on optimization and performance, but the core game here is a winner. You play as a rookie Ranger starting off at a new post. Your job is to repair and maintain the park, and enforce the laws. Astragon games always have good attention to detail and fun gameplay loops. This one is really interesting since it has some elements of Police Simulator but in the wilderness. There's an absolute ton of stuff to do and the game lets you handle your shift however you'd like. You can spend the day repairing trails or picking up litter, or respond to calls and emergencies. Once the performance is ironed out, this game will be a real gem. If you're willing to accept that caveat right now, it's already worth it to me.
Love the concept, but WHY CANT I JUMP???

Probably needs optimizing. I'm hoping the dev's continue adding content to it and I hope it doesn't die off. Fun little niche game.
So, I get it is early access but, it is more or less a fun game, kind of simple with lot's of room to grow, as long as it grows! I would like to be able to have for options for dealing with people. basic at this point. if you try to explore the map with the truck, you will have very little use, so I spend most of my time walking/running a lot, I get a little tired of it, Drive for a minute, get the truck stuck, walk for a few more minutes, take a photo of a plant... Then do it again. Overall game play is good, but it needs a lot more going forward. I hope more comes of it, but it is fun for 30 minutes at a time. Thank you!
Game is just okay. It is very pretty. Tasks are repetitive. Game is buggy, tasks sometimes do not clear from the map. Could not locate 5th trap and can't clear poacher task. A lot of walking without much happening at all. Screwdriver controls are ♥♥♥♥. Third person only. Can't pause. I don't recommend at this time unless price drops to $5 or below. Will be worth the price when it's better.
Gets old pretty quick, far too repetitive. Also its a massive grind to get to the fast-travel stage so too much of the "day" is spent getting places.

Game definitely has potential. Needs some vast improvements. 1. When I am on the menu, I assume the game is paused. This is not the case here. I needs to be able to pause. 2. Effie talking your ear off gets annoying after a while. I don't need her to remind me that my shift is ending and that I need t get to bed. 3. I feel like I can't get enough done in a day. Stuff is very spread out and you spend a lot of time trying to get to a location. I've purposefully not done anything else in the meadow section until I can unlock the ranger station there. I also keep ignoring call outs for this reason too. 4. SO MUCH TRASH. Immediately after I leave a location, I turn right back around and there's just trash everywhere. 5. The Review system is confusing. It feels like the levels increase at a snail's pace. I want to fill in the info boards, but I'm not at a high enough level. Being told WHICH level I unlock them at would be helpful. Also I think I took phot of a landmark, but it's not checked in the tablet. I want to love this game. I just need some huge fixes. I'll wait until there are a few big patches until I play some more.
Pretty chill game, no issues yet and looking forward to see more things to do in game
