About
In a world where singing the "rain song" actually makes the rain go away (causing you to accumulate "rain debt"), Billy is kidnapped by Rain Debt HQ to pay back his debt.

This is a short narrative-driven experience (about 1 hour long). Play as Billy as he goes through his days at Rain Debt HQ interacting with staff, making new friends, and working to pay back his debt through dodge-survival mini games.
Arcade-style avoidance mini games.
Story based game you can finish in 1 sitting.
A handful of fun characters.
Cool backgrounds I made.
Elevator music.
Have fun :)

pretty decent for a solo made game but the dialogue and the humor werent the best especially for being made by the talentless writer still glad to support u <3
i played this while eating a stuffed crust pizza
This game changed my life. Before this I was a lame lazy boring chud who had nothing to do but watch the rain water my dead grass outside my house. Then by the grace of god my phone flash bombed me and I got a YouTube notification from the glory of The Talentless Writer. I blushed just a lil', click on the notification and watched the video. After savoring each and every second of that 49 second launch trailer, my depression was cured and I hopped on my 1992 Thinkpad. As soon as I inserted my dollar bills and got the game, I was stuck in a trance that I spent 55 minutes for, even though it felt like 20 years (around 7200 or smth like that). Once I finally finished the game and watched the final cutscene, I had two tears stream down. One from the face and the other from my leg. When I say this game changed my life, it's brightened my future for the better. Thank you The Talentless Writer. Please make a $35 DLC where we play as Tommy.

This gave me so much nostalgia to the old flash games I used to play. Gameplay reminds me of world's hardest game but the added story was nice and emotional. I would love to see this world expanded. Even though we only got a glimpse of it, it added a cool mystery that would be really cool to uncover.
This game, is cinema. I whole-heartedly believe this is the best game ever made. When we talk to Tommy, the reader can see their optimism and strong friendship. However, later on when Tommy got kicked out it impacted me deeply. We can also see the impact on Billy, as he no longer has his best friend. I have only good things to say about the mini-game. For those who don't know, you must collect the rain droplets whilst dodging music notes. This is where TheTalentlessWriter's (more talented then you think) ingenious game philosophy shines its brightest. You see, it gets harder as the game progresses. This constantly keeps the viewer on their toes. Through this mini-game, TheTalentlessWriter connects the central idea of the game through the actual gameplay. Overall, this game has a incredibly unique and entertaining idea. This not only shines with idea, but gameplay and subtle connection. So, reader, pay for this game now. You will not regret it. also i am first review i think.
Guy36 and Guy47 toxic Yoai when?
There is only one mini-game, and I got super sick of it. I gave up and uninstalled the game.😢 Other than that, the animation was cute, the graphics were crisp, the sound was good, but what I saw of the story was bizarre and macabre.
Short but good game! The minigames were definetely fun and i enjoyed the story! It's truly remarkable what kind of gems you can find on steam when you sort by release date! keep up the great work :D
Fun, funny quirky lil game, charming as hell, something my middle-school self would play in the computer lab instead of doing my work.
I imagine this is what Hell would be like for people who live in Oklahoma. Having to pay off some BS debt you didn't even know you owe just because you're sick of how much it rains. Story of my life, man.
