Fun little microvania, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this game.
A perfect little Metroidvania. You can tell a lot of heart and love for the genre went into this gem. It can be 100% completed in 3-4 hours, but you'll be grinning ear-to-ear the entire time.
short and sweet with a lot of charm
Outstanding!! While not super long, this metroidvania absolutely nails everything that matters, such as map design, puzzle design, enemy design, boss design, and importantly controls! What little writing there is is even genuinely funny. This was the most unambiguously positive gaming experience I've had in a while.
Great little faux-"gameboy color" metroidvania, with nice controls, good challenges, puzzles that will have you backtracking and circling areas until you have your epiphany moment. It never gets too hard, but you will likely find yourself replaying parts of the level and having to recollect items. One will learn quickly to return to a save point whether it's convenient or not. Short and sweet, with some fun goofy humor. I'd buy a sequel in a moment - I really enjoyed it!
Really wonderful retro style exploration platformer. It's the kind of game that if you think it looks interesting from the screenshots, I'm sure you will enjoy the actual game too. The game is pretty traditional (in a good way), but also has a personality of its own. I will definitely keep following what this group does next, and if it's more of this kind of goodness, I'm very pleased.
it is refunded for now because i cant play with the given key bindings, i tried and even got past the first boss but my hand hurts. please add rebindable controls, i would purchase this game immediately even if its not on sale because i really want to play this since i enjoyed what ive seen so far a lot. edit: hey, thank you for the response! i understand that you are a small team and have a lot to care of so no worries. in all honesty i would like every button to be remappable. i cant play with arrow keys because i have issues with my hands, so i always use wasd. i usually remap the attack button to j and the jump to space but as long as the buttons arent next to wasd i dont mind them being anywhere else.
This is a colorful, fun adventure with solid graphics and fun abilities and secrets. However, it's very short - I beat it in about 2+ hours, and for $8, that's too little playtime. I got this on sale at $4 and I felt that was worth the price of admission, and its short length from then on would be easy to return to for a quick Metroidvania down the line. I still think this game is pretty good for what it is, and at a discount, it's worth playing.
Had a great time in one sitting with this one. Lovely nostalgia and just very nice to play.
不怎么需要英文能力就能玩的小银河城作品,一些地方有点小绕,但隐藏做得有意思,收集的正反馈挺足,而且手感也不错,加上boss战很多都是打机制,难度不大,推荐
