Pretty sweet little microvania. Definitely worth a pick up
A solid, bite-sized metroidvania that plays like a particularly good late gameboy color game. I beat the game 100% in about 3 hours on default settings, and they were a charming and fun 3 hours. If you want a decent challenge, I recommend looking at the difficulty options when you start the game.
What a great game! It has pretty much everything you'd expect from a Metroidvania in a nice, small package. The platforming works, the secrets are fun to find, and the unique gimmicks sprinkled in are a blast to play with. One especially nice touch: as you unlock new things in the game, new enemies activate or old enemies get upgrades. A bit like how Super Metroid changes enemies up after certain major bosses, really. I wish more Metroidvanias did that; for one thing, it lets you explore an area more freely before you have the item you're supposed to find there. For another, it'd help keep things fresh. Raider Kid and the Ruby Chest did it and it's not even long enough to NEED it, which just goes to show the attention to detail that went in to this. Highly recommended!
Very very enjoyable I have nothing negative to say about the game itself. Fullscreen mode wouldnt let me cap the fps so it got laggy. Windowed mode used capped fps.
Fun little microvania, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this game.
great retro game
Game Finished in 3.3 at quasi 100%. A small unassuming metroidvania who doesn’t really try to reinvent the well but doesn’t do mistakes either. Pretensionless and very agreeable to play.
Good retro game with solid controls
Short and sweet. A fun Metroidvania that can be finished in an hour or two with high to full completion. This can be an entry-level Metroidvania for a kid or someone new to the genre.
