This game is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...no ability to change graphic setting(and they are bad)... The car settings look to be done by a 5 year old. And the gameplay is terrible.. If I were any of the members of the Street Outlaws that had their face in this game i would be extremely embarrassed. It looks like this was made for phones not PC. If you are after a good drag racing game this is NOT it... The old IHRA game from the 90's still ♥♥♥♥♥ all over this. I had high hopes but the have been totally destroyed... Its just a cheep reaction timer with bad graphics.
I knew I was in trouble when I went into the graphics settings and the only option there was turning HDR on and off. This game is painfully bad, it made me want to get in a car and drag race off of a cliff. "Do you recommend this game?" LMAO!
Game is fun i guess , but then i only bought it for $10 so , with about 8 hours of gameplay , i've already got my money's worth. Goods - Easy to learn - Fun for a bit - Basic , but fun customizing. - Tracks look nice , good back drops and each area has it's own feel. - Game has not crashed once yet. Bad's - Music is total garbage. - Grind Grind Grind - After about 2 hours , you've done everything , it's just rinse , wash , and repeat. - Sounds are ok-ish. - After you have a fast car , you're pretty much going to win every single race. - Game is totally built for a console and it shows. (If it was built for PC , it would be way more simulator) Ugly's - Voice acting is horrible. You can tell they're reading a script. there is a difference between reading and talking about what you know. you can tell. they should have ran the voice overs in what felt like face to face and not talking to a book. - They're are a few qlitchs that take away from the game (Like cars backing into walls after a burnout) - Music is best on Mute ! - The use of the Nos is horrible. Hit the button and you slam into walls , or other lane and lose. Or there's the feeling that the wheel is ripped outta your hand. Closing : Game is fun and for the street racer or the die-hard fans of the show out there you might enjoy it. For the casual gamer , this is not a simulator in any sense. this is an Arcade game but it try's hard to be a sim-racer. Is it worth a buy ?? Yeah i suppose but it's not worth $40 at all.. grab it on a sale. At the time of this review , it is on sale for $10. if you want it , grab it now or get ripped off at full price.
1/10 you know how NASCAR is boring because they only turn one way and its like 1000 laps? good news, we cut all that out and now you just go strait for a tiny bit, thats it... thats the en-TIRE game WAY over priced you know hot need for speed has those minigame levels, thats this also got that playstation 1 quality NPC graphics
This game has not setting at all for graphics, I am going to say it. This is a Phone game that was placed on a PC. It should cost $1.99 @ all times.
Street Outlaws 2: Winner Takes All is a game that people definitely need to be warned about. If you look at the modestly okay car model assets, you could easily be tricked into thinking this is a competitor to contemporary racing games like the NFS, Forza, AC or Project Cars series of games. This is nothing like those games. The series heritage is from, apparently, mobile app stores, although this is simply a console port, I wouldn't have been surprised to see it on mobile phones. All this is is a simple QTE drag racing minigame. Accelerate, and shift up gears at the right timing to do the best run down the road. The "street racing" is just a slightly different backdrop scene that looks like a street instead of a racetrack. That's all there is to this. Usually I get into prices for games at the end of the review but the pricing here is really a critical factor because it's just so remarkable. The developers here are trying to scam PC gamers $50 USD for this shallow trash, in the hopes that it will fool gamers into thinking it really is a Need For Speed tier game. It's absolutely not. But wait, there's more, and it's worse. You don't even get the full game here... if you want to unlock everything, you have to pay another $66 USD for all the DLC content. That's right, this is a whopping ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN DOLLARS for a game that is as shallow as a free mobile app. This doesn't even have any of the sophistication of your average PC or console game. There's practically no settings menu for the game at all. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. PC gamers will be insulted by the presence of console peasant children's toy controller prompts, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for. Because this is designed for consoles, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the inferior console gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the console-centric developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for consoles forces upon a game. Once more, console peasants have made gaming worse for everyone. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. It's no wonder the game only had a peak player count of 17 people, and hopefully they got refunds. Charging $116 for what's basically a mobile app is a complete insult to gamers. This must be some kind of sick joke.
