Tags: Casual - Runner Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Frustating to play. Technical issues. No proper resolution support but has Xbox360 pad working out of box. I find the experience much poorer than most tube runners or most runners period. Rage runner offers two cruising speeds, way too slow, and way too fast by way of afterburner. The draw distance is a little bit shorter than you would need to use the fast speed, especially for larger objects which appear rather late. Giving you very little reaction time. Since this is in third person and the ship is rather large, your own ship can obscure an obstacle straight ahead, specially when using afterburners, or when firing the weapon. The weapon and the afterburner dont really mesh well together as I would catch up to the trail of smoke of the missile as it moved confusing the action further. The vertical movement axis is inverted in the tradition of flight games which I felt was not appropriate for this title. Finally the exact hitbox of the unevenly shaped asteroids and the ship felt imprecise and I would sometimes get hit without really having had a visual sign that I had made contact. On afterburners, the animation for ship hitting a target happens with a long day. There are more issues but this just about covers all the reasons this is not worth bothering with.
