This game was a scam when it first game out, I don't know why I though reopening it years later, it would be any different, absolute garbage. Don't waste even 25 cents on this game
Unfortunately, the game is unplayable in its current state. The driving mechanics don't work properly, and because the game locks you onto the road, you might find yourself stuck on strange terrain off-map if you speed too much. The publisher must be so lazy that instead of fixing this bug, they added a "reposition car" option to the settings. That's all I have to say.
Из описания игры: "Hidden places to explore. Live Traffic."
Launched the game in 2026, with zero credits, no way to buy a new car and actually start the game. This is a scam. Hello @Valve??? Why is this still on the shop if people that bought it cannot play it not a single minute???
that was ass half the time nothing happens all the inputs barley work and driving is hell
CrashMetal Cyberpunk, developed by JDM4iK Games and published by SA Industry and BATYSTORE LTD, is an indie street-racing experience that wears its influences boldly. It transports players to a neon-drenched future metropolis, a city built from the visual language of cyberpunk—holographic billboards, reflective highways, buzzing neon signage, and endless night. Rather than focusing on narrative or worldbuilding, the game positions the city as an aesthetic playground, a backdrop designed to support drifting, sprint racing, and high-speed exploration. From the earliest moments, it’s clear that the game intends to evoke a sense of stylish urban motion rather than realism or simulation accuracy. At the center of the experience is a traditional racing progression loop: earn money through events, upgrade your car’s performance, modify its appearance, unlock new vehicles, and take on increasingly difficult street rivals. The driving model leans heavily toward arcade handling—cars accelerate quickly, turns are exaggerated, drifting is accessible even without deep mastery, and nitrous boosts add spectacle rather than strategic nuance. The result is gameplay that prioritizes pick-up-and-play excitement over technical precision. Races are short, direct, and kinetic, which makes the game well-suited to brief play sessions rather than extended marathons. Players seeking simulation-grade handling or nuanced car feel may find the physics too loose, but those craving simplicity may appreciate how quickly the game gets to the action. Customization is arguably the strongest pillar of CrashMetal Cyberpunk. The garage system offers a surprisingly wide range of cosmetic and performance options for an indie title—body kits, rims, vinyl decals, paint finishes, neon underglow, tinted windows, and exhaust effects allow players to create personalized showpieces. Performance tuning extends beyond generic upgrades, offering engine improvements, gear adjustments, turbo enhancements, nitrous systems, suspension tweaks, and brake modifications. Building a car that reflects your imagination becomes just as satisfying as winning races, and the game encourages experimentation. It’s clear that the developers understand the fantasy of digital car culture and strive to provide tools that support it. The city itself, Hokuta City, serves as both race arena and atmospheric showcase. Traffic flows through the streets, industrial districts glow with metallic intensity, and hidden shortcuts encourage exploration between events. However, the city’s size and structure reveal the game’s limitations—while visually appealing, many areas feel underutilized, leading to a sense of emptiness when not actively racing. Track layouts are reused often, and environmental variety doesn’t always translate into distinct driving experiences. Over time, this repetition can soften the initial excitement, especially for players seeking long-term progression or constantly evolving challenges. Despite its strengths, the game’s indie nature becomes visible through roughness in execution. The driving physics can behave inconsistently—collisions sometimes send vehicles into unrealistic spins or bounce states, and certain surfaces seem to interact unpredictably with car weight and speed. AI opponents may alternate between passive and erratic, and event difficulty does not always scale smoothly. Technical hiccups—minor bugs, awkward camera behavior, delayed UI responses, and occasional controller compatibility frustrations—can disrupt otherwise enjoyable sessions. None of these issues make the game unplayable, but they collectively reinforce the feeling of a project built with ambition that occasionally exceeds its production resources.
There's actually some potential here! The physics are a little wonky, but it feels about as good as an early 2000s arcade racer. The brakes feel like you're trying to stop on ice, but otherwise it's not TOO bad. The collision physics, though... those are pretty rough. I know this game is a few years old, and they probably don't intend to fix anything, but it's alright as is if you can handle some jank. The biggest thing I will say against the game is that the racing feels very repetitive, running the same courses over and over. But the positives do outweigh that. It feels like a cyberpunk NFS Underground, and with some polish could be a very fun game. There's a sense of progression, you have to complete races to unlock the next round of parts, but there is no story. Not to say that a story is necessary in a racing game, but for transparency's sake - there isn't one. If I got bored enough, maybe I'd pick this up again, but for a boredom killer racing game, I'll probably stick with Tokyo Xtreme Racer.
