I don't know... I just don't think this RPG has anything special to offer. It even feels like maybe this was done to "just do it"? Like a low effort thing? What it does offer: - It's short in length, the battles aren't overly complicated and you should be able to beat it, even if your skills suck. The only trouble I had was with the Frog Boss... Who was a mid-way Boss. So the difficulty is kinda all over the place at times... Which is normal for these RPGs... - The towns are mercifully short too. No one really has anything impressive to say and eh exploration... I think only 3-4 Chests contained something? 99% of the others were potions. - Magic... There is no magic. It's all TP. But you need Equipment to gain "Skills". I collected a bunch of stuff and well... It just felt useless to be overpowered and with a bunch of stuff... Because the last Boss was easier than the Froggy!!! D: The Eh: - There are still errors in the game. I am pretty certain words were misspelled, but at this rate... I can't even recall it anymore. - The game is LAGGY. Anywhere I walked, especially in a BIG AREA... The game freaking lagged. The fog hurts even worse. And no, it's not my PC. - The game has crashes. It crashes after combat. Granted it happened rarely, but it gave me some kind of a "NULL" error... I swear... If it's related to the "Room" series....................... >.> Not funny! - The story is incredibly rushed and by the time you meet the bad guy? It's already pretty much over. You wont give a sheet about anything or anybody. So overall... It's harmless, kinda relaxing and not really hurting anybody and yet... I can't really tell you a reason as to why you should play this... Apart from "hey, you want a cheap, short RPG?" Well... I think you found it! Otherwise... *shrugs*
This is a typical JRPG, you have a party of character with different abilities and combat is turn based. The combat system is easy, basically the characters can feel the life within item and so get magic and skill from armor and equipment, so what you put on your character change what they can do. So the story is pretty simple, the peaceful land our characters live in are under threat, someone have been killing the guardian dragons and stealing their crystals and now it is up to the party of heroes to figure out what is going on and stop the villain. The story fit well into the time allowed. I love the music it have a really cool retro vibe. The graphics are like late NES or early SNES and look pretty good. I have only two complaints of this game, there are no map and also the buildings and towns are so large it is tedious to just wander around them but these are minor complaints. All in all this is really good for what it is. If you want a little palette cleanser between bigger games or a short little JRPG then this is the game for you. I will give this game three and a half evil dragon killers out of five.
pretty good!
