This game stinks. I tried to give it a fair shake, but there's just so much wrong with it. From the moment you try to fullscreen the game and notice the lack of scaling, you know you're in for a ride. There are two tutorial missions, but neither really explains what's going on with the stance system, and there's no way to tell what the effects of pets are once they've been purchased and deployed. The balancing is awful and seems to be based around the player having a full grasp of systems they've made no effort to convey. When you first get annihilated by a challenge while doing everything correctly, you assume that it's balanced around shop upgrades, but no, the upgrades aren't really upgrades, they just unlock new stuff - stuff you can't use in challenges. The only thing I can think of is that you're expected to purchase boosters or something...boosters that don't exist in this version of the game. The art's cute, but that's about all that the game's got going for it. You unlock new classes that are just reskins of old ones with a different set of stats. That's all "classes" really amount to - hidden stats you have little to no control over and an ultimate ability that doubles as the only active skill they have. What's more, the ultimates (called "specials") aren't even unique to each class. The Paladin's heal is the same as the Priest's, just weaker. There's two stats in charge of what loot you can get: Charisma, which influences the Gnome's random drops, and Luck, which influences the drop rate of monsters. Why they saw fit to split the precious single point you get to allocate each level-up between two different stats that affect drop rate, neither of which affect your combat effectiveness, I have no clue, but they don't appear to stack or interact in any way. No, you don't get to see how much Charisma you have, and for some reason your drop rate goes down when a party member is dead, but springs right back up so long as they're conscious. If you like having to pay for MiniClip games, have at it, but not even Cheat Engine could make this fun for me.
Literally waste of time. There're dozens of better RPGs not mentioning %^&*(?!
QuestRun wants to be a fast-paced tactical RPG, but let’s be real—it’s more like watching a screensaver and occasionally pressing a button. The art? Cute. The music? Decent. The gameplay? A mess wrapped in glitter. You get three heroes auto-fighting waves of enemies. Your job? Switch lanes and press a single special ability per hero. That’s it. No story. No plot. No exploration. Just combat. Forever. Enjoy. Worse, this game forgot it’s not a mobile title anymore. Currency rewards are garbage, clearly balanced around a long-gone cash shop. Want to unlock the new class? Hope you like grinding 20+ missions for it—and it's bad anyway. And let’s talk about the mess under the hood: No fullscreen. No options menu. Can’t change resolution, volume, or even window size. It's 2025, why are we still doing this? Most heroes are useless. Want to win? Let two die and babysit the third like it’s your only child. Hero selection? Random. Unless you unlock them with hours of grind. Just pick two you like and pray. Companion Selection? - None, I suggest to only buy the 2 you like, or you will have a bad time. Balance? - None . . . good luck You need Luck to survive. Strategy is optional, suffering is mandatory. The inventory system is... laughable. You can't even hold onto a potion you like because the game throws it out like expired milk. And oh—the game crashes if you farm kills. And if it crashes? Those kills don’t count. Because why not insult the player one last time? QuestRun is basically what happens when someone builds a pretty shell and forgets to put an actual game inside. It’s got charm on the surface, but underneath? It’s chaos, confusion, and a whole lot of nope. Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx24lrTVUYw&list=PLKuVMkePc-_OAx_1f4s4wenUkl9n1Xib_
I recommend
Hard, short, unbalanced but.... cute
I got this from indie bundle. It's very casual RPG, lacks many features, unbalanced. Considering the game price is very cheap, it's worth to try for time-killing.
