Very very good gameplay ideas I really like the vision and direction, but the implementation is not that great... Tech side is also not that great. Also movie segments seems redundant.

Content buffering. Please wait This is the weakest title in the Remedy catalogue, which is insanely impressive, cos this one is really, really great! Having played Control and Alan Wake 2, which were released after this game, I really appreciate the existence of this one. You can really see semblances of ideas and game mechanics that are perfected in later games. Content buffering. Please wait Whether that's the gameplay mechanics, shooting and powers that is perfected in Control or the mix of live action visuals and gameplay visuals as well as the separation of the story into Acts that is perfected in Alan Wake 2, this game really feels like the first step forward towards greatness. The gameplay has the signature Remedy flavour. There's plenty of fun to be had here. Content buffering. Please wait I loved the acting performances for both the game cutscenes as well as the live action series. I found myself really engaged in the plot and the characters. The twists are excellent and each character is written so damn well! The setpieces, visuals and overall feel of the game is well done. The live action series especially really makes you feel like 2016. The camera, the lighting, the specific dated product placements, the quality of the CGI all feel very nostalgic and true to it's time. Although the ending commits the sin of teasing a sequel, a sequel that I personally think is never coming. It would be awesome if it did though. Content buffering. Please wait The score was pretty nice, but the soundtrack didn't hit as well as it could've. I did love some songs though. Content buffering. Please wait Don't get me wrong, I love this game. But the fact that the live action show that is an important part of the whole plot of the game relies on ♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers that buffer every 10 seconds, really soured things. I had to resort to playing the game and then watching the live action series on Youtube. You don't get to see the exact version of the series based on your in-game actions because of this. Considering how the Xbox One had a DLC to download the episodes offline that is not available for PC is unacceptable. This is not the experience that should be given to someone who BOUGHT the game. Apparently, those who pirate this game has an option to have these episodes online. This is shameful for Microsoft. Content buffering. Please wait Overall, Quantum Break was a necessary experiment for pushing radical and innovative ideas that would eventually evolve Remedy to greater heights in the future. I recommend every Remedy fan to play this atleast once to pay respects and also cos it's truly a great game. Not perfect like other Remedy games, but pretty close ngl. 8/10

A buggy game that has had the same issues for ten years left unpatrhed by the lazy devs. Don't buy unless you're comfortable restarting entire levels just to pickup a bugged chronon which is required to level up your skills. Tried to refund but couldn't due to the game staying open in the background beyond the two hour mark. Glad it was only $8.

Community manager Vida Starčević thinks killing people with different views is a good thing, and said on twitter "all I do at work is befriend everyone on the writing team so I can then tell them to make every character gay every time it's feasible to bring up (more often than you think) if you think this isn't about you (affectionately) yes it is it's called direct action"

Juego muy de Remedy. Muy narrativo, buenos actores, historia compleja, un gameplay super pulido y buenos gráficos. Debería haber tenido mas éxito y visibilidad.

Spiele dürfen nicht als Kaufprodukt vermarktet werden, wenn sie später ohne Server vollständig sterben können. Der Publisher bzw. Mutterkonzern wird durch Video Games Europe vertreten, das sich gegen verbindliche Schutzregeln positioniert hat. Deshalb kaufe ich von diesen Firmen künftig nichts mehr.
