I first picked up Quantum Break about two years ago on Xbox Game Pass. I played a few hours, then dropped it. But for some reason, the game stayed in the back of my mind—I always had the urge to come back to it. When it went on sale on Steam, I finally bought it and finished the entire game. I absolutely loved it. The story isn't overly long, but every chapter feels meaningful. It kept me invested from beginning to end with its emotional twists, fascinating time-travel concepts, and constant feeling of wanting to know what would happen next. Beth's story genuinely broke me, and the ending left me thinking about all the possibilities we could have explored if we'd ever gotten a sequel. The blend of gameplay and live-action episodes was such a unique idea. Even though the streaming episodes can be frustrating today, they added another perspective to the story that made the world feel much bigger. I've already played Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare, and I loved both of them. Remedy has a way of telling stories that stay with you long after the credits roll, and Quantum Break is no exception. Paul Serene wasn't just a generic villain—you could understand why he became the person he did, even if his choices were tragic. It's honestly a shame we never got **Quantum Break 2**. The ending clearly sets up another chapter with Jack's promise to Beth, Paul's uncertain fate, Martin Hatch's mysterious plans, and the glimpse of an even darker future. There are so many unanswered questions that deserved to be explored. I really wish we got more games like this story-driven, emotionally engaging, and willing to take creative risks instead of playing everything safe.
It would be 08/10 if you just can download the chapters of the series. Anyway, it is a solid game. You can see the first steps for what is going to be known as Control.
A buggy game that has had the same issues for ten years left unpatrhed by the lazy devs. Don't buy unless you're comfortable restarting entire levels just to pickup a bugged chronon which is required to level up your skills. Tried to refund but couldn't due to the game staying open in the background beyond the two hour mark. Glad it was only $8.

Better Late than Never... Personal note. It’s a real shame there wasn’t a sequel. Still, Jack will do everything in his power to find his beloved Beth again. ;) Good Work. 10 / 10 Points. rgr&out
Just finished the game in 7 hours which included finding all collectibles. You will definitely get more playtime by reading everything and immersing yourself in the environment. A great storytelling game with a couple branching paths that change the plot slightly. Choosing a path will also change the collectibles as well. Different emails and stuff that you can read. This game can easily be 20 hours+. Buy it and have fun!
