I honestly didn't expect to enjoy this game as much as I did. The time powers are incredibly fun to use and make the combat feel fresh throughout the game. The story kept me hooked from beginning to end, and the live-action episodes actually add a lot to the experience instead of feeling like a gimmick. The characters are memorable, the visuals still look great, and the soundtrack fits the mood perfectly. If you enjoy story-driven games with unique gameplay, don't sleep on Quantum Break. It's definitely worth playing.
I rate this 6/10 - played it once, meh, not that big of a deal. If you're heavy into the Remedy verse, you'll play this anyway. I played this to get caught up on the Remedyverse before Control Resonant releases. Compared with the Alan Wake and Control games, this is the weakest entry. The time abilities during combat are interesting, but otherwise the combat is unremarkable - then again I used abilities that worked best for me, I didn't really mix it up much. There are interesting environmental situations involving time that require special handling, but they don't occur very often. I won't go into the rules that the game decides about time travel. I will say that the buildup of the stakes didn't seem all that steep to me - the story is just a connect the dots, do this, do that, accomplish this. There are some opportunities to affect the course of the story. There weren't enough narrative or character aspects to really keep me pulled in, no real existential questions or challenges, no solid or satisfying payoffs. The live action segments between each of the 5 episodes were very well done,. all things considered. I will give kudos to the technical achievements of the game - the character model quality, the motion capture and acting transfer to animation were all worlds above what I've seen in other games, even if it was sometimes a bit jittery. If I score a game an 8/10, it means I'd likely play it again. 7/10 is worth playing once. I give this a 6/10. I played it, I was curious, and now that it's over, meh, it's not that big of a deal. It left some things open ended and unresolved, but I didn't have any personal squee energy for the theory and discussions. I would have appreciated if the game had presented those things as part of the narrative rather than just leaving them for internet discussion. I tend to rate a game based on how much it was worth my time. For what I expected, and what I hoped for in seeing something clever for a game involving time alteration, I didn't get that much. Frankly, Remedy has this habit of leaving the juicer narrative bits floating outside the game for us to add more energy to. Hopefully Resonant tells a meaty story.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Awesome time travel story, amazing visuals, good platforming, decent combat. The inclusion of live action feels half-baked but is improved upon in future Remedy games (Control and Alan Wake 2). The final battle was very disappointing and the most annoying part of the whole playthrough. The level design and combat encounters other than that are fine, also the sniper enemies feel a bit unbalanced as they can kill you in 2-3 seconds out of cover. For 100%, there is no grind, just be mindful of looking for collectibles through out the playthrough and you'll be fine. Very easy and fun 100%. Overall had an amazing time with this one. Highly recommend experiencing this for the story and awesome time travel plot.
The most generically named Guy in video game history Quantums all over the place to fix his brother's science project he Breaks. A slightly whacky relic of the dawn of streaming as a commercial concept, and the Xbox One's launch, but its fun, the writing is good and the visuals are great. Combat is fine, no notes. Solid 7/10 even if the "show" is kinda cringey and skippable. Definitely worth playing for that good Remedy Nonsense
Bavil mě Quantum Break. Příběh se mi líbil, i když mě finále moc nezaujalo. Líbila se mi ta inovace a jak Sam Lake pracuje s klasickou sci-fi a motivy cestování časem. Určitě doporučuji tuhle hru každému fanouškovi her od Remedy! I enjoyed Quantum Break. I liked the story, although didn't care much for the finale. Liked the innovation and Sam Lake messing with classical sci-fi and time travel themes. Certainly recommend this title to any fan of Remedy's work!
Quantum Break was a surprisingly great experience. The story is engaging from start to finish, with interesting characters, time-travel concepts, and plenty of twists that kept me invested throughout the entire game.
Pile of Shame minus 1, hat sich gelohnt, wäre ärgerlich, dieses Spiel zu verpassen.
Such a bittersweet moment with this game, my final Remedy game before I have to wait for new ones to release :( That being said, I really liked Quantum Break. Not as much as some of their other titles, but it's great! The core gameplay is really fun and I love the powers you use. A combination of the powers in Control and Quantum Break would be, yes, overpowered, but also really cool and incredibly fun. The graphics are really nice and hold up well. The acting is what I expected from the bigger names they used, but still great performances all around. R.I.P. to icon Lance Reddick. His Martin Hatch role was one of the best in here. Remedy's core DNA is all throughout this game and I'll always love the weird/bizarre stories they tell. Quantum Break, however, is time-based. That being the case, it always gets tricky. The way the story is told is as good as I'd imagine a story like this can be, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have its lows and moments that are confusing but somehow cliché. Some things happen for plot's sake, but don't really make much sense as to, for example, why they never happened at another time when it would've made sense to do then. Certain endgame fights were a bit underwhelming for all the buildup they had too. One unique thing that's more prominent in this than in any other Remedy game are the episodes. Full episodes filmed in live-action that take place between acts and add needed context without slogging down the main game's narrative with its side (but still tied to the main) plots. Those were really nice and using the actual actors both in-game and in the show made it less jarring. With that, it's not Remedy's weakest single-player game, but doesn't hit the same highs (narratively) as Control and Alan Wake II. Again, the gameplay was still a blast and the story still flowed well. 8/10.
I'm weeeeell above the recommended requirements, but the performance is still incredibly unstable.
