I originally played this game on Xbox One, so my hours here don't reflect my actual time played. I just wanted to replay it on PC, which basically is like a "Remaster" compared to the Xbox One version. Remedy is one of my favorite game developers. From Max Payne to Alan Wake, every single game they put out is top-tier. Quantum Break is a super fun action-adventure game that blends Live-Action FMV/movie sequences with videogame content seamlessly; you use time-bending powers to mow down the bad guys, and the combat is as good as it gets. Every Remedy game is set in the same "universe" and the easter eggs throughout the game are AWESOME. For example, if you explore the college campus at the very beginning of the game, you'll find a tv that shows a "trailer" for Alan Wake 2 (remember this game was released 7 years before Alan Wake 2 dropped). After each videogame "episode", there is a FULL live-action "tv episode" that progresses the story further. If you enjoy a game that has great story (where choices impact how the story unfolds), fun combat, and a true "movie" experience, you should absolutely play Quantum Break. DO NOT play the PC Game Pass version, as it is broken and doesn't even have the "tv show" sequences, which are pivotal to enjoy the story; and these sequences will unfold based off the choices you make in the game, which is SO COOL. Score: 9.0/10
gud
Only game from Remedy that is not good. Constant interruptions on gameflow. The tv episodes were, at best, annoying. Playability was just horrible. This old school checkpoint save system is really f***ing annoying. Didn't even bother to finish the game - it was that bad of an experience. Only good thing was the story, which was interesting.
I had this for years and never played it. It's really good. Really fun, great story. I love Remedy.
It a good action-packed game good story too I'm just surprised that they haven't made a second one even after Jack say to Beth "I'll come back for you".
