Devs abandoned this game a long time ago. It doesn't even deserve to be for sale. Typical abuse of the early access system.
Almost 2 years since the game has gotten an update. Game appears to be abaondoned by the dev. Lots of basic usability feedback and issues that were reported back in 2017 still not touched. It's unfortunate, as what is there is promising.
Well, you can save, but sometimes, it bugs out and you lose all your progress. I haven't seen enough updates for this game, and I'm starting to wonder why this can't be open-sourced at this point. That said, there's no competition. We need some other studio/dev to make a fireworks simulator for VR that doesn't suck. Until that day comes, I'll continue playing this 2-3 times per year to see virtual fireworks. This and H3VR that is. What I want but probably won't ever get from Pyro VR: 1. better save/load system with save slots with customizable slot titles 2. a spawning system in sandbox mode that allows us to spawn what we need rather than deal with finding the limited supply of things in the level 3. a campaign/story/puzzle mode, like promised in the initial release What i think this could benefit from ASAP: 1. finger tracking 2. controls customization 3. smooth locomotion 4. firework smoke (some have it, others don't, absolutely no trails currently) 5. ability to snap objects together and pick up objects using distance grab
Experienced on the Oculus Rift
I mean it was fun to blow up the whole building and kill myself in a blaze of glory. However, there's just not much here. Seems like it should be free to play. Doesn't help that the game was released in Early Access and then abandoned. The lack of content & clunky controls makes this a thumbs down from me. Rate 4/10. Only worth it if you can find it in a bundle or less than .99 cents.
This game is ok. The thing i have to say is that the hand mechanics are weird and I seemed to get bored after about 10 minutes of playtime.
It is a shame that this game can not play with keyboard and mouse or better playable with a gamepad i buy this game for 9,99 and can even play the game. Can you guys please make it playable for people that have not a vr headset. i want to play your game, but i can't because i have no vr headset, but i still buy your game in the hope that the game can be playable with gamepad or keyboard and mouse.
It's worth it if you get it on sale or in a bundle. I wouldn't expect any updates or the planned career mode, but what's here is still fun if you like fireworks. It looks surprisingly good and offers a lot of different options in the sandbox mode to set up your own fireworks show. I would've loved to have seen stick movement since the first thing I want to do when I light my fuses is step back and enjoy the show, but the teleportation can make that tricky.
