Good game and this implementation is pretty well made. Hard to find people in quick match, but challenges and ability to play against bots make for a decent single-player experience even if you don't have any friends to play with.
It's a good game
This is a deck building game. But instead of cards and a deck, its poker chips and a bag. So a bag builder styled deck builder. This is also a puzzle fighting game. Think Puzzle League or Tetris Attack or Puyo Puyo. You create attacks with gems by combining them and throwing them at your opponent. First to end their turn with 10 gems in your pile is the loser and the game ends! This game is absolutely fantastic and the game gets harder and harder to survive the longer it goes on. If you like simple deck builders and like vs. style puzzle games. You'll LOVE Puzzle Strike!
This is the perfect deckbuilding game. It combines this already fun genre with direct player interaction, asymmetrical starting conditions and lots of tactical depth. Despite the name (which was chosen because of the theme), it is not a "puzzle", but a battle of wits from the very first turn until the very last one. It works great as a competitive 2-player game, but it is also lots of fun for 3 and 4 players. The free-for-all multiplayer mode is very dynamic while avoiding all the usual problems that can plague multiplayer games with direct attacks. The user interface for the online version is fine, but could benefit from a few improvements here and there. All in all, this is a decent implementation of the board game. Keep in mind that it is just that though: The video game version of a board game. So, the amount of animation and special effects is rather minimal. Bottom line: It is one of my favorite board games of all time and I have played almost 500 hours of it (counting the real life version, the browser version and the new Steam version together).
this is meh. The predefined set of wares is an attempt to mitigate "hate buying" but in the end it just collapses a big chunk of the decision matrix that makes a deck builder... a deck builder!
An ok deckbuilding game. Physical deckbuilding games are not my favourite due to having to reshuffle a lot. The digital implementation makes it more manageable. I think this is alright, but there are better games. 5/10.
Great and interactive asymmetric deck builder. However, it is quite complex for new players to learn. Lots of edge cases, but there is intrinsic beauty to it.
good
This game is neat, I like the way it plays and the tactics you can develop. Though I think that it is a bit too expensive for the price it asks : There isn't too big of an online community, the assets feel a bit cheap and you have a few DLCs to buy if you want the full rooster.
