very buggy will often break save files if you craft in a "+" pattern some rooms just randomly don't work the blocking mechanic doesn't always work it's a shame because if it did work i'd lose days to this game
On PC I didnt got game breaking bugs, just extreamly frustrating ones. So it is playable and cuz the game is a ton of fun by default, i recommend it. Below my initial experience. Playing on Steamdeck. The game has several UI related bugs that can cause game mechanics to break to the point of end a run or brick your save entirely. The game is really fun and works in the campaign and worth the price, but wait until endgame gets fixed. There are some insane ballance issues endgame when it comes to infinite scaling. If dev read this, please tell me how i can send my save from steamdeck so it can be fixed.
Puzzle Forge 2 is one of my favorite mobile games. Its combination of match-three gameplay and blacksmithing design is so addictive that I couldn't stop playing until I defeated the final boss and saw the credits. It was a moving experience to be able to play such a great game on mobile. A few days ago, I stumbled upon the game again and immediately purchased it to relive the experience. While the core gameplay remained the same, the addition of the popular rough-lite elements seemed worth trying. However, the execution was terrible. After five hours of playing, I encountered three game-breaking bugs that made it impossible to continue. It was disappointing to reach the end and feel a void after completing it. The theme and the core gameplay didn't seem to be integrated at all. The end result felt rushed, like a final project that was hastily put together. I had higher expectations for your company, and I believe that Puzzle Forge 2 could easily outshine this game if it were directly ported to the PC platform with more in-depth design.
intresting game just sucks if u die then u gotta restart all over again
Cool one
This was a fun little game. I enjoyed playing it, and even went back and beat each stage as every character. Took about 15 hours and was worth the coupla bucks I spent on it. Unfortunately, it's also a bit of a one-trick pony. Once I figured out how to get the most out of each 'craft', it didn't really matter what I crafted. I could have optimized my strategy even more if I'd cared about what specific items I was making, but I was getting 'S' scores already and there didn't seem to be a point. In sum; good game, a bit short. Could use some higher difficulty challenges.
Well made and well polished! This game is a reversed match-3 where you created a match-3 on an empty board instead of swapping things together. Every match creates an item that can be combined further into a better item. There are multiple tiers of match-3 crafting which makes a better and stronger weapons. I have to admit that it takes me some time to get used to the patterns so that you can make the most out of the turns. The game's progression system is very long... and I would say that it's quite grindy. The roguelite encounters are pretty much fair and balanced, but the final boss in every run can be a bit hard to clear on the first try. But from the short time I played this game, I think it's a pretty solid and unique roguelite to add to your collection!
I was expecting something more similar to the original Puzzle Forge II on mobile, But the fact that they made the calm and relaxing game into a stressful mix of guarding and attacking, combined with the fact that the slabs dont cool down by themselves and you slowly break your board, makes this game absolutely unenjoyable for someone who liked the original concept.
It is too simple, i was hoping for something more.
