Purrfect Date - Visual Novel/Dating Simulator

The game itself is okay, but nothing to write home about. The achivements are buggy, and with a low-replay value it's not worth going for them.

I started this game in 2019. I came back to it in 2024 and finished it completely. Why is that? The game rarely popped up in my mind during those years of a break. It was an original concept. I was curious about the true ending (it turned out to be a bit of a stretch). I enjoyed the game, nevertheless. The art is not extremely polished, but it is creative and original. The major con is lack of a skip function for previously seen text, but there is a workaround by using an auto clicker.

A frustrating to play visual novel. Sometimes text boxes don't move forward at the same speed, or jump ahead. There are messages that pop up on screen that I don't have the chance to read because I clicked twice earlier and it's loading those clicks. No skip function. A lot of repetition.

This game is absolutely wonderful. It's quirky, has a wonderful story, and it has cats (number 1 perk). A few downsides though is there are no manual saves, and you can't restart a chapter if you mess up on an answer, which does make it frustrating at times. Otherwise though, it is a magical journey that I 100% recommend.

Just to wordy and I don't understand how this could be considered a fun time.
