Punisher of Sins

EDIT: The dev responded to my review, and a few claims I've made in it turned out to be wrong. It isn't a scam, but meant as a "real" game, and the map turned out to be a bought asset and not a scan of a real location. For my confusion with the gameplay, it turned out that I simply didn't understood the game. Yeah, I'm a little dumb. I will leave my old review in the following, as this was what I honestly thought when I started the game. Old review: For anyone interested: This is (as I guessed) a scam. Which means that all the other 9 (!) games from this studio released on the same day are most likely also a scam. There are no options. The map is a bought asset and everything in it is a static mesh. The other possibility is that this is a megascan of a real place with real people, which would probably be legally problematic. After wandering around for a short time with a horrible resolution which hurts the eyes, a "game over" screen appears. Hitting 'esc' anytime just closes the "game". I really don't have the imagination why anybody would relase something so bad.

Once you realize you're racing against time, the pace of the game shifts and you naturally start playing more focused, which makes the experience more engaging. Following the story is enjoyable and keeps you invested throughout. The voice acting is well done, and the ambient sounds fit the atmosphere nicely, helping to immerse you in the game. The variety of gameplay elements also adds to the overall experience. Towards the end, your final action provides a satisfying sense of closure. Overall, it’s a smooth, engaging, and enjoyable experience.

It was challenging and unlike anything I’m used to, but after growing tired of playing the same things over and over, it left a strong and lasting impression on me.

It turned out to be much better than i expected. The atmosphere and story really draw you in. The ending was especially impactful.

I grew up playing Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human. So when you say adventure game, I immediately play it. I really liked this game too.

In the first chapter, I hacked the game and found a way to drive the car for a long time.

The combination of engaging gameplay and well-designed environments made this a really enjoyable experience. Every area felt unique, and exploring the world was just as rewarding as progressing through the adventure.

The game is visually stunning, and the story is full of suspense and adventure. We eagerly await more stories featuring Detective Gabriel.

A solid indie detective adventure with an interesting premise. Punisher of Sins has a dark atmosphere, open-world elements, and a storyline that kept me curious about what would happen next. Definitely recommended for players who enjoy mystery-focused games.
