Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Psychonauts is an old, clunky game, and despite that I consider it one of the best I've ever played. While the sequel is a universal improvement, if you are at all interested in the series just grab this game. It's funny, creative with its gameplay mechanics, and it rewards you for engaging with it and seeking out all collectibles. You are missing out if you've never played this game, and it's cheap enough that there is no real excuse.
It's a very solid platformer that still holds very well today, i didn't have many problems getting it to lunch, it did automatically start in a 640p fullscreen for some reason, which made the starting cutscene not that pleasant, but after it worked fine, i suggest using borderless gaming though rather than the game's fullscreen because it will make your pc ♥♥♥♥ itself on an alt tab otherwise, also for some reason while controller worked fine for most things, it refused to work for the options tab in particular, don't know why modern hardware support out of the way, yeah the game is quite fun, every level in the game is very unique both in looks/atmosphere and what you gotta do in them. There's also a decent amount of exploration you can do in the hub area, and the game doesn't shy away from out of the way collectables and secrets. The characters are all quite entertaining and honestly voiced very well for such an old game. Although personally i find the designs and voices of some of the kids a bit, well, quite unpleasant to look at or listen to, yeah i get it that's the point but i didn't love it. I'd say i reccomend this to anyone that even remotely enjoys 3d platformers, the controls might feel very slightly outdated in certain parts of the game, but they are still VERY serviceable for being this old of a game, and don't rly make the experience any worse except for maybe like 1 level and a half.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Psychonauts is a game that simply is always getting better and better with each playthrough I give it. Now, it's not perfect, some of the figments are quite unfairly hidden, and the game has a general level of jank that was common in this era of games. However, rather than take this as a negative, I try to embrace those quirks that let it stand out in this world of over polished and guided games we receive now. Psychonauts is 3D collectathon platforming joy with all the top notch writing you could possibly want. Can't wait for my 5th playthrough!
Cool game
Picked this up on a sale on a whim, not thinking much of it. I saw it on the shelf at the video store as a kid, always was curious, as I grew up on the original Xbox. 20 years later, it's one of my favorite games of all time. A truly great experience if you like platformers/collect-a-thons. Funny characters/story, a lot of heart, incredible art direction and soundtrack, I love all of it. It's not a very long game, so it's not too much of a time investment to play through. It truly feels like a relic from a bygone era of gaming. Excited to try out the sequel.

This game is straight up art. Everything is thought out, still feels good to play, and is funny asf. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
This game is absolutely incredible and i highly recommend it.
I love this game (and its sequel). This is a legendary platformer, in my mind, that still holds up to this day. It has its quirks, but this current version of the game looks great and I really enjoy the platforming mechanics. I wish for a dozen more game titles based on this universe. Psychonauts should be played by everyone who loves creative video games.
