Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I can only assume this is a faithful iteration of the original game. Gameplay was smooth.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I'm impressed how good Psychonauts is despite its old age. It is funny in a good way, with lots of jokes along the way and not childish as you might think. The levels you will go through and the superpowers you get are original and inventive and I explain why later in this review. Everything seems a little bit dreamlike. Basically, you are in a summer camp to learn to control your superpowers, in a world where not everyone can have superpowers and that are sometimes a reason to reject people. These superpowers are, indeed, very helpful for the society, because you can use them to enter people's mind and get to understand why they act like that. Their mind ARE the levels you go through, that's why it is so dreamlike and original. By going into their mind, you will have to fix their trauma and you will also understand their story or their trauma along the way. The purpose of this is to be ready to become a Psychonaut, someone that enters people's mind as a job. However, not everything will get as expected, there is a plot surrounding this summer camp and Raz', the protagonist, will have to solve it. While the levels are inventive all the way, the game might become heavy and sometimes frustrating when reaching the mid-part, as it was my experience. Regarding the boss fights, they are not that hard, but they are all gimmick fights, so you still might die some times. You will have to find how to beat the bosses instead of learning the patterns as it is the cases in many modern games. The achievements in this game are grindy as hell (rely on lots of different collectibles) and easily missable: there is a point in the game where you can't select level anymore and will have to do a whole new game to get them, but the game warns you before it. Overall, it took me 15.9 hours to beat the game but I explored a lot and grinded a little bit for some upgrades. If you go straight to the point, you can make it in 12, maybe 10 hours.
this game is phenominal and so is Brutal Legend...but everything after those 2 are neoMarxist propaganda. Just buy this and Brutal Legend and pretend Double Fine was shut down 15 years ago.
it so much fun would recomend
This game is the very definition of an underrated gem! The fact that this game flopped on initial release is just baffling to me! The premise is so unique and has so many cool and interesting ideas that make this game truly one of a kind! The art style is so unique that it's aged perfectly with time and reminds me of a classic Tim Burton movie! The writing is also super sharp and witty, helped along immensely by the charming quirky cast of characters! And there are so many memorable jokes and quotes that still get a laugh out of me even years later! Where this game really shines, though, is the level design! The concept of going into someone's brain and getting to interact with their inner world is just pure perfection! There are so, so many fun ideas getting thrown in here left and right that you can tell the devs had a blast with all the creative freedom it granted them! The gameplay is very fun and playing with the psychic powers feels satisfying! Even the few complaints some fans have are completely overshadowed by how much this game does right! Definitely recommend this and its amazing sequel!
