Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best AU #72, worst BR #86 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Aug 26 → 6.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My gf's review: "Cool."
enjoyed every creative elements in every level, and loved this Tim Burton-ish animation style.
It's disappointing. I didn't need this game to blow the first one away, but I did have expectations on design and pacing. The story is mediocre, but the pacing is frustratingly bad. Almost everything has a cutscene. You can never just look around and take in the scene on your own, every single time you enter a new area, there is a cutscene of Raz looking around, most of the time literally saying "What is this place?" or "Where am I?" Want to revisit a level? You have to go through 5 cutscenes to get back it, then 2 cutscenes every time you have to use the transports through the level. If I wasn't able to skip cutscenes I would've quit playing. Revisiting the levels, which I usually don't enjoy having to backtrack, was the most enjoyable part because I could actually explore and take in the environments on my own time. I ended up turning Voice Audio all the way down halfway through the game because the mind numbing dialogue, lowest level puns, and exploration spoilers ground me down. I actually turned it off in the Sensorium, "The Jack Black Zone" because he was so annoying. I love Jack Black, but this was Jack Black doing the laziest version of himself. If anything he took away from the character Psy King by literally just being Jack Black on a Sunday. Combat is bad. It's not fun. There were some attempts at unique enemies but they just come off as poorly tested. It came to the point I would just damage boost through most of combat because it was so boring and lame. Credit to the artists, they built a beautiful world that I did enjoy exploring when I had the opportunity, a couple of the levels were truly remarkable to take in. Unfortunately, it was such a slog to even get to exploration it dragged the entire experience down into the ground.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Me parece una joya. Si te gustan las aventuras, recolectar cosas, un mundo extraño tipo tim burton, este juego es para ti.
Muy divertido y con una historia interesante, super recomendado
fantastic game if you enjoy 3D platformers
This game was my 3rd Platinum Trophy on Playstation. It's amazing, and now Microshaft isn't publishing anymore I can recommend it again. It's a modern classic, and it plays like a dream control and performance-wise. Anyhow, throw a Pen into the Maternity Ward in the first stage after the intro. Thank me later.
An awesome elevator appears from the shadows bound to be opened to the mysterious figure with a bodycam. The silver doors slide open as a furious fat short clown holds a sign saying "haha man" and he then speaks those very words before pulling out a lightsaber. - Josh from Missouri
Let's get the first thing out of the way, much like everyone else who gave this game a review I also played the first one, and I liked it. I liked this one too but let's be honest, there's no way you could make something as good as the first one. Story wise it's okay, I didn't play the VR game and I still was able to follow pretty much everything easily, and all the old characters are there so that's fun. All in all, double fine did an okay Job for their sequel that's worth the sale price if you wanna play another psychonauts game. Now onto my gripes: I pretty much checked out after Bob Zannottos mind, the baby easy platforming wears on you and you're pretty much just standing around a lot waiting for either your stupid Archetype to pull a lever or for a platform to move within reach. Outside of a few, none of the new characters are really that memorable, and the Interns are just kinda there to antagonize Raz until the plot needs them to all be friends. The badge system is barely useful and I pretty much just ignored it all Game opting for the purely cosmetic badges or the ones that make the game sounds less annoying. Raz won't stop telling you what to do or where to find things, in the first game you could wander for a good while before Raz starts giving hints, they don't even give you a chance to look around the map, Raz will remind you every 20 seconds about what you should be doing whether you want him to or not. And he will also immediately tell you when you are near a hatbox multiple times to make sure all the fun is taken out of exploring the map and finding the collectibles for yourself. Exploration really felt rewarding in the first game, you could explore almost everywhere and find collectibles in random spots. I loved getting to spots I thought were gamebreaking only to find that the Devs had intended for me to go there all along and find something. In this one, there is still some of this present, but for the most part you go where the game wants you and barely branch off to explore. Yes you can find all the cards and stuff to upgrade your psi-perks, but the "upgrades" are minor and rarely feel worth all the effort going through collecting everything. Finally the game is made in Unreal 4, which for most isn't really a deal breaker but you definitely feel it. The first game used an engine Double Fine made themselves, and in my opinion it's what made a lot of the platforming fun. Platforming in Unreal never feels amazing, and you especially notice it near the end when you have to roll the stupid giant egg and deal with Unreal's Physics engine. I get Unreal looks better and given how barely anyone in the games industry even makes in-house engines, its not even that big of a problem. But in psychonauts 1 I could always tell where I was and was not supposed to go either because there was an unpassable body of water, or a solid wall with no way over. Want to try climbing over something by jumping over the geometry to skip a bit of the level like the first one? Sorry, theres a bunch of invisible ramps/walls to make sure you do the level exactly the way it was designed because being forced to only ever beat the level one way was definitely what the last game was known for. Tldr: The game's tolerable for a sequel released 22 years after the first one. Platforming and Story could be better but definitely worth grabbing both games whenever they're on sale.
