Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best AU #72, worst BR #86 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Aug 26 → 6.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I think this one is just as good as the first but man do the interns blow compared to the campers. Still an incredible game and the mental health journey and the way it goes is really touching
Достойное продолжение первой части. Проработанные уровни с разными механиками. Прошел на одном дыхании, давно не получал такого удовольствия от игры!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I came for the 3D platforming and puzzle solving, stayed for the character driven story's and fantastic voice acting
sehr gut
I didn't think it possible that this sequel had any chance of surpassing his predecessor. Boy was I wrong. An absolute masterpiece with S tier writing, story and characters and so, so much charm and personality
Here I am finishing Psychonauts 2… 20 years after playing the first one. Without nostalgia goggles on, This game is better than the first. If I am remembering correctly this game is MUCH more vast than the previous. Like 3 times more content. The story is awesome. There is a ton of dialogue and cut scenes (not my thing, but there is quadruple the gameplay in comparison so I am content). The art style is perfect. The humor throughout the game keeps you smiling. All this being said, play the first, then play this. The first game still has one of my favorite levels of all time (milk man). And the story in this will hit harder if you do play the first beforehand. I still have probably 8-12 more hours to completionist.
I bought this game about when it was released almost 5 years ago. It takes around ~25 hours or so to perfect the game, between Steam Achievements and experience everything within a story-focused puzzle/adventure platformer. Yet I have over 80 hours because this game (and the Psychonauts franchise as a whole) is addictive to me. Every year or two, I end up playing the original and Psychonauts 2 again, even though I know the plot points of each game by heart. And as I'm typing this review, I'm debating on playing both games again. Gameplay wise, I think they improved with the new psychic powers Raz has. A handful were dropped and others will be gained during gameplay, both to relate to how we actually think about things vs some of the more tactical powers in the original game (Confusion Grenades?). The platform feels a little tighter too, but it's marginal enough to chalk up to the years between games more than anything else. Story wise, I think Psychonauts 2 is an improvement. The topics just feel presented in a more mature way, matching it's older audience vs the original game. While the original was fun between worlds like Lungfishopolis, Milla's Dance Party, and the Milkman's Conspiracy, I just felt that more emotion was placed into the minds this time around. The only real outlier to me is probably Compton Boole's, but that may be because his mind itself doesn't tell a larger story and doesn't advance the plot or story outside of it's completion. Overall, it's a game that I generally see as an improvement from the original in many ways (more adult theming, longer while being about the same number of mental worlds overall, more polished and somewhat realistic for a game based in the lore of a secret spy organization of people with psychic abilities, etc). To me, it's a 9/10. Well worth the money (especially as the seasonal Steam sale has it for like $12 in 2026) and a definite buy for a fan of the franchise.
