Proteus is a game about exploration and immersion in a dream-like island world where the soundtrack to your play is created by your surroundings. Played in first-person, the primary means of interaction is simply your presence in the world and how you observe it.

Лучший симулятор ходьбы, музыка и звуки потрясные. Игрой это сложно назвать, но как визуальное демо очень даже
wow thats a baseball
OK, so I did 2 seasons, then one night did the ritual that summons a guy, chased him to the big tree, and found the fox a few times, but then it stopped appearing. i went to try and change to the next season, but the game threw an exception and crashed.

Played at launch on ps3/vita, playing right now on an old crt and it's beautiful. Is the game barebones? yeah, If you hate walking sims avoid for sure. That being said the ost is not only great but extremely dynamic(more so than any game I can think of) the visuals are minimalistic yet timelessly nostalgic, there's so many little events to see and it's just extremely chill. It's not the ultimate game but if I had to argue video games as an artform I'd probably bring up proteus and that's probably the most succinct way I can explain how I feel about this game...

this game might actually just be haunted, I have the weirdest crashes and general technical issues with it and it's gameplay and vibes make it like, the perfect candidate imo, 10/10
This game allows me to enter thetastate (creative mode) mentally, it also allows me to think when i have an obstacle / dilemma in life, this game takes the edge off and allows me to think freely with the little music in the background, depending on which season you're in, and your preference. Extremely good game for children for when you have your nieces and nephews, it allows them to explore without fearing anything. Certain seasons and music also allows you to reflect on your behavior and past, I think Ed Key and David Kanaga created an absolute masterpiece, this game is deeper than what alot of people would think. Overall: Allows you free space to think. Allows you to reflect on past or current situations in life Gets you in Creative mode ( thetastate ) specially if you're Stoned. Good for children of all ages. Highly Highly recommend for people with deep thought. This will assist you. Also don't mind my gamehours on this account, i played this game when i was way younger on my main account.
This game is the love of my life. It is a parabel on life itself. It starts in spring and lets you discover everything. Everything is fresh and new, you discover lifeforms and beauty. At some point, whenever you like, you switch to summer. Everything is even more alive and beautiful and full of energy. At some point, whenever you like, you switch to autumn. Life is receeding, but you will find a quiet beauty in it, which is even more magical, but also fading. At some point, whenever you like, you switch to winter and there is pracically no sound, everything is frozen, you are at the end of life and eventually are forced to let go of everything and get lifted up into the beautiful lightshow of aurora borealis. And such is life (I hope it ends in a similar fashion, but who knows?) It is a one of a kind game, which isn't really a game but a beautiful, funny, melancholic and ultimately peaceful expierience.
