Recommended for casual play, not recommended for completionists. Excellent concept but bad UI. The creators of the game obviously wanted something minimalistic but in doing so, they either forgot or deliberately ignored quality of life. The game can be fun and relaxing if you play it casually, just trying to solve the puzzles but the UI may cause you to ragequit if you try to complete the challenges. The isometric view and the fact that you can only make horizontal 90 degrees turns make everything much more tedious and frustrating than needed. Also, the picross mode is NOT a picross because it shos the total number of cubes in each row/column/layer instead of showing the the number of connected cubes. The game would much more enjoyable with - a grid - colors to show the height of the cubes instead of shades of grey - the possibility to hide full rows/columns/layers - the possibilty to use keyboard controls to precisely choose where you want to act - a coordinates system (x, y, z) to show where you cursor is - actual 3D - the possibility to freely turn the structure in all directions (think about what Picross 3D did on DS and 3DS)

The game is brilliant. I completed all levels with all solutions and enjoyed every second of it. Maximum cubes way is for relaxing no-brain gameplay; minimum cubes requires finding the most effective solution; picross is just picross but with simplified navigation (like for example "3" can mean either 3 cubes in a row, or 2-space-1, or 1-space-2, or 1-space-1-space-1) but it doesn't really complicate the gameplay since all grids are 5×5. And you can also ignore all of the above ways and just find your solution - the game will accept it and let you to the next level. No pressure. That's why it's so good.

Very solid minimalist puzzle game with a good amount of gameplay. 120 levels with 3 modes each. Sometimes the block placement could be a bit finicky, or I'd erase the wrong block and not be able to put it back, so I'd have to start all over, but each puzzle isn't too hard or time consuming. Just a nice fun puzzle time.

One of the most fun puzzle games I played on Steam. =) Pro: + It's very satisfying solving the cubes and seeing the finished animation. + It's getting slowly more challenging, but never gets "impossible" to solve. + every puzzle has multiple "unspecific" ways to solve them + every puzzle has additional 3 specific ways to solve them (minimal count, maximum count, picross) + means 120 puzzles (=> ~360 challenges) + ~ 8-9 hours fun + fair Steam achievements + great while watching TV series online + worth full price, but also gets on sale. Con: - sometimes the fixed axes make it hard to reach the lower cubes, so you have to deconstruct a little to get to them again. - for some reason you can't change to a window mode nor change frame size. Only fullscreen. ALT+Enter doesn't help since you can't change window size.

Peaceful. Complex and challenging, without being frustrating. It really helps train three dimensional thinking.
