Really love the allround fun in this game. From MX-5 to LMDH
Picked this up day one and returned it. I decided to buy it again during a sale, and I'm glad I did. It's much improved and is now a pretty fun title.
The suspension loading transmitted through the wheel is absolutely incredible. It is so accurate that it alone makes owning this sim a must. The default settings don't transmit much road feel, but who cares with that suspension loading coming through like it does! I would overlook a lot of other stuff for that feel, but I don't need to because everything is pretty great. Maybe ACC is better feel wise across the whole spectrum, but what this does great it does great! The GT3 Mustang acts more like a 427 Cobra on power, which I doubt is right given the compliant nature of GT3, but who knows? Ive never driven the real GT3 Anything.
So after all the launch stuff and then some, it was on sale so i finally bought in after the fixes and let me tell you something. This game finally gave me the thrill of the race weekend and then some i needed, have been craving. is it perfect no but lord knows i loved project cars and this is slowly getting there. I'm here for the long haul!
I bought this expecting a replacement for Forza Motorsport... that being said I will admit I was skeptical once I seen the same company that was involved with farming simulator was the one that made this game and all the reviews people have left. Honestly I bought all the DLC along with the season pass and the game . This game puts Forza motorsport off the radar it is 1 million times better in my opinion and im so happy with the game the developers have went above and beyond to give you a authentic racing experence a porshe is going to drive different that a 1963 corvette ive got 15 hours in the first 5 races... that should tell you how intense this game is 10/10 would buy again in every lifetime
This game has some really cool cars noone take into consideration, and mostly play Race Weekend anyways so Highly recommend to people who do play arcade like games. :D
it is pretty good single player multi needs more people sadly.
OK I know theres a lot of hate for this game but its now genuinely good and very enjoyable to play. If youre a fan of GT Legends, youre going to love it. Just off now to slide my lightweight e type Jag around Donnington, perfect!
PMR is improving at a decent rate: I'm posting a positive review to acknowledge that. I bought the original super early platinum with extra ketchup and cheese version before launch, but had it fully refunded when PMR just refused to map my Fanatec gear. Disappointing start. Having just now purchased again in the Steam sale, I have to say I am pleasantly surprised, maybe because my expectations were so incredibly low, or maybe because now PMR is actually quite decent and playable. FFB is better than expected, though PMR does have a unique driving feel, which to be fair can be said of every other sim too. Each one has it's own "way" to drive, PMR is no different. MP works and is fairly stable, again this being good, considering it's cross-platform. PMR is also very customisable regarding camera settings and HUD elements. Being stuck with an awful camera or intrusive HUD is no fun, but no such issues with PMR. I'm certainly not saying PMR is perfect, but it's at the point now where it's worth a go! Glad I picked it up and tried again.
AMS2 addict here. Tried all the sims (Vr) and Ams2 is my favorite. Plain fun. Bought Project Motor Racing because I was curieus and saw a way in the comments in steam how to get VR. It worked and only played for a couple of minutes but everything worked immidiatly and in a nice way. Bought the season pass after those few minutes because I know this one can grow into something special. And it allready is. It's at 40% of what AMS2 is right now and I bought it because I want to support every developer that show ambition. Playing on a 4070Ti Super 7800x3d en Fanatec dd Game is plug and play. No time to race the next couple of weeks but happy I bought it.
