Excellent American Football simulator.. I have been playing Kerry's Football games since his first one for the Amiga back in the early 1990's. Love his football games..

Gotta say this version has pushed this game into one of my all time favorite games to play. It still holds it's place as the ultimate sandbox, but if you like going back through your league's history it just got even better. In fact, now the game allows you to view any past game in your league's history and do it in a variety of ways. From highlights to full game. Don't think any other sports title has come close to actually pulling this off the way PSF2026 does. Additionally, gamers had been asking for the animated players to sport actual player numbers. It's now a new feature for this version. Fantastic enhancement to the game! In my humble opinion PSF2026 is a jewel of a game. It scratches current, historic and the fictional itch.

This game has a ton of features but unfortunately the game is broken. I created a new 16 team league, picked a league schedule and began league play. I coached the first 4 weeks on the schedule and simmed the other games. I backed up the game after every week. (another negative is there is only one backup / recover game). I tried to play week 5 of the season by opening Management Careers and clicking on my career. It shows my team record after 4 games (so my 4 games were counted), but states the game is in Season 2 Offseason and there is a champ for the prior season, so somehow all of Season 1 and the Season 1 Playoffs were done without me. Upon further examination, the prior season 1 has Zero stats for any teams, players or the League. Not sure how my team did in Season 1 but I did finish 4-0 somehow. Also, my team has ONE PLAYER listed at EVERY POSITION... THE SAME PLAYER AT EVERY POSITION. Thank God for the Recover option…..Well that does absolutely nothing as nothing was recovered. Also, trying to click on any History of any team freezes out the program. I am left with a lost season and am very reluctant to give this another go because of the issues encountered. …..I wish the game was functioning properly but currently it is unplayable.

Great game/simulation! This is a huge leap forward compared to other versions! There are so many new options and features that make this version better than previous ones. The game and mods work great on the Steamdeck. Glad I upgraded!

Tried quite a lot of american football sim games, and I always get back to this one. It is the best in terms of freedom + realism. Congrats to the developer!

I keep purchasing this game to support one of the very best devs I've ever come across. This is a passion project (I've nominated it for Labor of Love in the Steam Awards many times) and the game just keeps improving. The AI is annoyingly challenging, and the AI officiating is NFL caliber (unfortunately.) This is a great game for immersion purposes -- I downloaded one of the many mods available for this game and am completely engrossed. There's something for every level of fan here, from the casual to the hardcore. You can never go wrong purchasing this game. Enjoy.

I've bought this game for several years, and there's been good improvements every year. If you enjoy playcalling/coaching or historical NFL type simulations, this is definitely the product. Myself, I prefer fictional leagues and building universes. While it's not the primary focus of this game, it does cater to it well, and the developer is very receptive and adds new features all the time that help with this. The addition this year of all-time record books is huge for immersion. Check year by year leaders in every statistical category, as well as what the best all-time records are - awesome! The addition of trading (all human driven, nothing automated), is another welcome addition that allows those who enjoy playing in a 'commisioner' style mode to further enhance player movement by moving players around. Custom playoff brackets also is another touch that was added a couple versions back that really helps come up with creative leagues - same as the ability to move teams/changes conferences, etc (added last year) ... Definitely worth picking up !
