good game but its frustrating only having access to certain routes if youre doing short or medium or long pass. I want to run a fly and a slant at the same time, but can't. Really restricts offensive playcalling. would continue to play if this were changed
Love this game well worth your money
The game play is simple and easy to use. The graphics are awesome. The mods are great also. I love playing the older year leagues.
I've put a lot of time into this game and at the time of review I have only owned it for about 3 weeks. This is the first one that I have ever bought on PC I used to only play it on my iPad but decided to buy this one on PC because it wasn't made this year for my iPad. Pros: I really like the ability to add your own logos instead of the helmets next to team names as well as the mid-field logo. As well as a logo for the championship game. I created a league of 30 teams between 2 conferences each with 3 divisions. I was able to create custom schedules with each team playing 9 games a year with ease once I figured out the pattern to make it work. This game does a lot of things right and I wish we had a game like this for basketball and baseball. The ability to sim all of the games prior to yours and keep the scores hidden and check the studio as your game is progressing is a nice feature. Would be cool to see some sort of half time show that shows the scores from the games around the league. You can do it manually but a halftime show would be a nice touch. Cons: I do not have the software to add logo to helmets and end zones. It would be nice if their was a simpler way of doing that but it isn't a make or break issue for me. This game only allows career leagues to have a max of 32 teams but a side note is that PSF24 will give you the ability for more which will be nice because the league I created actually had 50 teams in it so I will be able to add onto it next year. I am currently at year 16 in my league and when I started the league the best team was a 78 overall and the worst team was 57. It seems that as the years go by teams come much more close together now with the teams being 10 overall apart. It would be nice to have a way to keep that gap so you don't run into where every team could actually win the championship. That being said I'm not sure how to accomplish that but if the next game has a graduation after 4 years like NCAA would have that could help with that but it is hard to say. I like that end of year stats leaderboard that the game has for Passing, Rushing, and Receiving that being said for passing the name on the list is based on QB rating so I've had a QB who only had 250 yards but had the best rating in the league. Would like to see that changed to most passing yards like the others. Hope to see in PSF24: With the ability to have more than 32 teams in career mode I'm hoping to see a 24 team playoff because that is what my league actually uses and it would also give people the ability to do FCS team if they wanted to. The league I use is a high school league so a feature where players graduate after 4 years instead of age out would be cool to have and since not every league does a draft some sort of recruiting feature would be nice even if its a simple feature to start with based on just a few things that gets a player to go to your team. Older NCAA games had simple mechanics that might be able to work for this. Overall this is a great game and at $20 I've got my moneys worth. I would rather play this compared to Madden just based on the customization that I can do alone.
