Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 6 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
SMARTER, MORE STRATEGIC SEASON PLANNING
In Pro Cycling Manager 26, season planning has been completely overhauled to give you greater immersion and control. Shape your team’s hierarchy, assign roles to each rider, and organise your squad by speciality or versatility to get the most out of your roster.
Every race on the calendar now carries one of four priority levels, allowing you to identify the defining moments of your season and commit your strongest assets accordingly. Once your objectives are set, lock in each rider’s programme to ensure your squad is balanced and competitive from spring through to the final races of the year.
At the start of the season, you’ll be given an automatically generated plan, which you’re free to fine-tune to match your goals and constraints. For a more authentic and competitive experience, AI teams now benefit from these same advanced planning tools.
And of course, the unexpected still happens. Crashes, illness or poor form may force you to scale back a leader’s ambitions and rethink their schedule mid-season.
THE MOST REALISTIC DAY FORM YET
The day form system has been fully redesigned for greater realism, introducing two new attributes: Tour Focus and Classics Focus. A rider’s consistency and day-to-day performance now fluctuate more naturally depending on their strengths and the type of race they’re targeting.
A Grand Tour contender will maintain steadier form across multi-stage races, while a Classics specialist will show greater consistency in one-day events. Meanwhile, more unpredictable riders may alternate between brilliance and off-days, just like in the real peloton.
These traits evolve throughout a rider’s career based on their race calendar and the events you enter them in, adding another strategic layer to long-term development.
SAVE TIME WITHOUT SACRIFICING ACCURACY
Race simulation has also evolved with the introduction of Detailed Simulation. Designed for experienced players, it runs on the full 3D race engine – without the visual display – delivering highly consistent and realistic outcomes in just seconds as it calculates the entire event behind the scenes.
Now renamed Instant Result, the previous system is still available, giving you full flexibility. Depending on the race, you can choose between the speed of Instant Result or the enhanced realism of Detailed Simulation.
GREATER FREEDOM IN PRO CYCLIST MODE
Start your Pro Cyclist career your way, with two distinct options: create a rider who looks like you or take control of an existing professional.
Choosing a real-world rider lets you begin at a more advanced level, allocating their initial skill points to tailor their profile to your preferred playstyle.
The contract system has also been refreshed. Transfer opportunities have been redesigned to give you faster access to the sport’s top teams and a clearer path to cycling’s biggest races.

Bought for the first time in 3 years. Not worth it. - Downhill and corners are so bad its plays out as nothing other than a reduction in distance. - Sprints are bad. The meta is pretty much sprint early because the speeds are low and contact model is bad. So you can run out of red bar before the finish and still carry enough speed to not worry. Also if you dont sprint earlier than ai, you just get stuck behind due to the weird hit box and lack of spread (again due to low sprint speed). -New schedule system has potential but is not there yet. Not worth buying the game for this alone. - Pro Cyclist mode is same as 3 years ago. Races stuck behind progression really kills a lot of potential for different playthrough scenarios. Overall - Solid game but really not worth the getting over PCM23 which was my previous purchase
This game is a huge disappointment: The Pro Cyclist mode hasn't received *any* new features; worse yet, bugs from the previous version remain unfixed, on top of new ones introduced this year. Peak form is still disabled. At the start of the season, you still have to micromanage endlessly to avoid a poor stat boost in February caused by suboptimal training. On mountain stages, the AI attacks using an unlimited red bar. The leveling system still sucks. The training schedule UI is out of sync. If you only play Pro Cyclist mode, I suggest weighing the pros and cons before to buy the game this year.

Good game, but so many bugs, and no real maintenance from the devs
First : I've been playing PCM since 2017. It's always ups and down (mostly down). This year new "feature", the planner, is just so bad it pisses me off. You can't tailor the season of your team, an IA does it for you, and that IA is SO BAD. Putting your climbers at Boucle de la Mayenne instead of GIRO ? Check. Sending 0 sprinters at Milano San Remo ? Check. You do it manually : Choosing the flamish classics ? Yeah, but no peak for E3 and Ronde. Choosing late italian classic ? Yeah, but no peak for Lombardie. Why am I not the manager anymore ? It Pro Cycling MANAGER D*mn it.
After skipping a few versions, I've come back to version 26, and have to say I'm generally dissapointed. The game is still moderately fun, for a little while, but the races quickly become very samey. The lack of dynamism was also why I stopped playing the latest version. The breakaway have no chance of succeding except on mountain stages wher eyou let them. They don't even tend to make it close to the end. Counterattacks are doomed, and attacks in the final doesn't work either. In the breakaway, every rider will go for every sprint/KOM, even if its absolutely pointless, which makes their impossible task even more difficult. Conversely, once they are caught, you can just slowly ride to the front of the peloton to take the KOM, without being contested. Instead of a dynamic race, every team rides the finale the same way, and more or less every style of race end up a bunch sprint, either between a bunch of favorites, a bunch of puncheurs or a bunch of sprinters. You set up the best train and ride mostly the same way with it. Personally, this means it is not one of my favorite versions, and I cannot recommend it.
Waste of money. Just play the previous game. They're equally bad.
