Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

one of the best games i have ever played
This game reminded me why i love games...and what have we lost...
Such a good game and i highly suggest anyone to play it. Its pretty awesomesauce
The story of Prey in 2026 should be divided into two parts: the plot and atmosphere, and the gameplay. The main plot is generally at the level of a good science fiction novel, although it is presented very slowly. The side stories are diverse: some are boring, some are interesting (there are more boring ones, but the interesting ones are like REALLY interesting). The lore of the game is revealed through notes, and this is cringe, incredibly boring, and drawn out, but at least it is not necessary: everything that is truly important will be told to you aloud, in plain text, as part of the main story quests. The atmosphere of the game is perfectly conveyed: exploring the space station is scary, interesting, and the locations are memorable. Especially in the first half of the game, when the gameplay is still fresh, the game does a particularly good job of immersing you. The gameplay... oh... don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but for this kind of gameplay, the game takes too, too long. At the beginning, the player is not yet familiar with the behavior of the aliens, and they want to explore this cool perk, check out that mysterious location, find a better weapon, and all of this pushes them forward, making them immerse themselves in the game. But hours later, I've already seen all the aliens, I've leveled up all the interesting perks, I've explored all the locations, and I feel like it's time to move on to the ending, but it's still not happening. I want to know how it ends, but I'm being sent back to fix some airlock, carry some ♥♥♥♥ to the other end of the station, explore a location I've already been to, and so on. In short, the game is starting to annoy me. Overall, I think the game is generally good, but I wouldn't call it a masterpiece. It's up to you whether to buy it or not.
A very good game.Highly recommended.
