Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you love games like BioShock, System Shock, or Dishonored, Prey is an absolute must-play. It’s not just a sci-fi shooter; it is a brilliantly crafted immersive sim that respects the player's intelligence, offering unparalleled freedom in how you navigate its world, survive, and solve problems. 🎬 The Story & Setting (No Major Spoilers) You play as Morgan Yu, a scientist trapped aboard Talos I, a massive, retro-futuristic space station in the year 2032. The station has been overrun by the Typhon—a mysterious and hostile alien ecology. What starts as a seemingly standard "escape the monster-infested ship" plot quickly devolves into a psychological mind-bend. The game constantly makes you question your own identity, your memories, and the morality of your choices. Talos I itself is one of the best-designed settings in gaming history; it feels like a real, interconnected place that you can fully explore (even from the outside in zero-gravity). 🕹️ Gameplay Mechanics: Pure Player Freedom The core strength of Prey is its emergent gameplay. The game rarely tells you "you must do it this way." Instead, it gives you tools and lets you figure out your own solutions. The GLOO Cannon: This isn't just a weapon. You can use it to freeze enemies, but more importantly, you can shoot it at walls to create your own stairs and platforms, allowing you to reach seemingly inaccessible areas. Neuromods (Skill Trees): You can upgrade Morgan using alien or human abilities. Human Skills focus on hacking, engineering, and firearms. Typhon Skills allow you to use alien powers, such as kinetic blasts, telekinesis, or the famous Mimic Matter (turning yourself into a coffee mug, a chair, or a grenade to slip through tiny gaps). Scavenging & Crafting: Resources are scarce. You will spend a lot of time collecting trash and throwing it into a Recycler to turn it into raw materials, which you then use at a Fabricator to craft ammo, medkits, and Neuromods. 👾 The Enemies: Terrifying and Paranoia-Inducing The Typhon are distinct and highly unsettling. Mimics: These small, spider-like creatures can transform into any mundane object in the room. A stray coffee cup, a double-up of a chair, or a flashlight on the ground could be an enemy waiting to jump at your face. This creates a brilliant sense of paranoia where you find yourself hitting random objects with a wrench just to be safe. Phantoms & The Nightmare: Human corpses mutated by alien energy. They are fast, hit hard, and speak in distorted, creepy echoes of human voices. The Nightmare is a massive beast that stalks you dynamically across the station, forcing you to either hide or prepare for a brutal boss fight. 🎨 Atmosphere, Graphics, and Sound The "Neo-Deco" art style gives Talos I a luxurious yet isolated and eerie vibe. The soundtrack, composed by Mick Gordon (the genius behind the DOOM soundtracks), is phenomenal. It shifts perfectly from atmospheric sci-fi synths to blood-pumping acoustic guitars and terrifying horror screeching when an ambush happens. 🏆 Final Verdict Prey is a criminally underrated gem that suffered from poor marketing at launch, but it stands as one of the finest sci-fi games ever made. It challenges your creativity, rewards exploration, and delivers a fantastic narrative punch. Pros: Incredible level design, total player freedom, intense atmosphere, brilliant recycling/crafting loop. Cons: Combat can feel a bit clunky at the very beginning before you get good upgrades; long loading screens between major sectors on older hardware. My Rating: 9.5 / 10 — Highly Recommended for anyone who wants a smart, atmospheric sci-fi thriller.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

这么好的游戏,真的是绝唱了吗?唉
True hidden gem, one of the greatest games I've ever played in my life. If you like Bioshock or Dishonored, this game mashes both together in spectacular fashion. Do yourself a favor and play through this if you haven't already, and avoid spoilers. Mooncrash DLC is a substantial addition with plenty of content to sink your teeth into for multiple hours. Won't say much here because everything said about this game is another thing you can't experience yourself, but I will say that as far as game design and gameplay goes; this is very likely the best in both regards out of any game I've ever played. The sheer freedom this game provides you in a setting that is fully realized and explorable is commendable and truly underrated. If you can think it, you can do it, and the game will likely even reward you for the creativity. Because of this, the game simply never gets boring because once you're tired of one approach, you can just take a different one in your next encounter and have an entirely different experience. Art style is great, dialogue is classic Arkane, and the story is gripping. Buy this game.
Паркур, пазл, шутер, хоррор, выживач - все в одном лице. Настоятельно рекомендую играть с износом оружия. 8.5/10
Arkane Austin developed “Prey” and ‘Redfall’ and contributed to the development of “Young Blood.” All of these games shared similar characteristics. What that means is up to each person to decide for themselves. To me, it's clear. Thank you for closing this studio and cleaning up the Arkane Studios brand, but it's a shame that the “Prey” brand has been tarnished like this.
Game should have been called NeuroShock. Follows a similar BioShock formula but in space (or SystemShock1 with powers and 70-80s designs). Lots of exploring, figuring out what to do next, and more exploring, the game rewards you for that. Story has nice twists. DLC Mooncrash: It's a great roguelite when you play it with one character and reset the sim. When playing all five of them on the same run, it gets messy and punishing if you miss certain lockouts. You end up playing with the engineer most of the time. Also, the ending
it would have been great if I could get a last not-sim real run with the hacker after the crash, high corruption, no saves and no mods. You make his death the canon ending, but it would have been awesome if the hacker/player got a bit more agency there. It would have been more on par with Prey's ending.
It's superbly fun. The gameplay, environment, storytelling, character writing, dialogue. All soaring remarks across the board. I'm especially impressed by how interwoven the lives of the NPC's are, and how by the end of the game I feel like I naturally learned a lot about each of them without even going out of my way. The NPC's lives really feel akin to games like Return to the Obradin wherein you're learning about what went on after the fact, and you're slowly piecing things together. This in tandem with a very stealth heavy game that emphasizes smart engagement over typical gunplay, makes this very very fun. My only real big criticism is that choices don't really matter and that the game just unceremoniously ends. There's no final boss fight. No big chase sequence. No waves of enemies you have to fight as you run down the timer of a bomb. You do a few final tasks, walk to several checkpoints, and then the game ends. And it especially doesn't help that no matter what you did, you always get the same ending. There's a lot of emphasis on not using alien powers, because you'll be giving up your humanity. And there are several humans throughout the game that are mind-controlled that you can go out of your way to free. Turns out doing any of these things only adds 1 additional line of dialogue at the end that amounts to, "You didn't have to do that. Thanks." Disappointing. It's a small blemish in what is an otherwise overall good game, but it really did leave a bad taste in my mouth as the final thing I am left with. Minor nitpicks: Alien powers all suck anyway. They don't do a lot of damage, and most of their utility only amounts to stunning very specific types of enemy for a few seconds. They cost too much energy. Whereas the one human ability Combat Focus basically freezes time universally, lets you attack faster, and removes all stamina requirements. Still a lot of fun. I got it on sale for about 5 bucks, so I certainly got my money's worth out it of.
