About

Post Human W.A.R is a turn-based, tactical and psychological strategy game.
At the dawn of our third millennium, mankind went extinct, leaving behind a deeply affected planet Earth. Ferocious mutated animals, household robots converted for warfare, and inventive monkeys in tracksuits battle it out to decide the fate of the human heritage.
At the beginning of a battle, each player composes an army and selects one secret unit among them: the Champion. The first player to kill the opposing Champion wins the game. You’re free to pick between frail or strong, flying or not, melee or ranged unit, as well as either keeping it behind your lines or exposing it to trick the enemy… To each their own strategy! You’ll have to read your enemy’s moves and avoid their bluffs to find the Champion and get rid of it... before it gets yours!
Form your armies and set off on an adventure through solo campaigns, or face off against local friends. Experience a purely strategy-oriented gameplay with nothing left to chance, and filled with tactical challenges, bluffs and absurd humor.
An unforgiving gameplay with nothing left to chance and no seniority-induced imbalance: May the best strategist win!
Unmask your opponent's champion: a psychological mind game mixing bluff and tactics.
An absurd and completely original post-apocalyptic background.
Various ways to play: Solo campaign, local multiplayer, friendly or competitive.
Create barricades, destroy obstacles... Alter the terrain to your advantage throughout the battle!
Rich content, with 3 different universes, 3 factions and 36 playable units.

This is a solid 3 out of 5 for me. The setting is highly invested in but fundamentally nonsense, the style looks great but feels limited and the gameplay is very, very straightforward. Okay, they added champions and totems to a type of game that Advance Wars did just fine nearly twenty years ago--and if you thought Advance Wars was some new thing, Avalon Hill would like a word with you. What I mean is, there are a lot of games like this out there, a lot times a lot times a lot, and I'm just not sure the ways that this stands out are all that meaningful. Still, it's a small indie studio and I do have a soft spot for those. If you're nuts about the genre, it looks great and it's light and fun. It's just not going to blow you away.
It needs more units and above all it needs units that are differentiating the fractions from one another. Both of wich will create a better tactical depth. I also don't really know in what state the game is and if its even worked on or updatet, but that could just be bad research on my side. Great potential though.
I'm not usually into turn based games but picked this up as it was on offer and liked the artwork. I really enjoy this game. Its simple but still has tactical depth and even if a battle seems lost you can still turn it around by changing tactics. Its a shame there are very few people playing this online. The game deserve some more love. Quick tactical games with quirky characters to choose from and for what its worth it has enough variety to keep things interesting. It does have 3 campaigns and can play with a friend on the same computer and take turns to keep the game alive if there's no one online at the time. as well as versing the AI One thing I really like about this game is the fact you can choose your units based on the funds at the start of the round and battle each others 'armies' rather than a party or small group. I haven't found this in any other turn-based game along with such charming graphics.

Muy buen juego, hay que darle amor <3
