Please follow United Critics for quality reviews
Good things:
Graphic is nice and the game is working and someone used their time to create it.
Bad things:
Bugs, bugs, bugs. I tried to play this game 10 times and only the 1st time the game maybe worked like it should and by that I mean that when I got to battery status low (30%) I started to lose HP and died because I didn’t know how to charge the robot. All other 9 times I had battery status excellent or good (60-100%) and I was losing HP like you do when you have low battery so before I am able to dig out needed resources and make needed researches to create a way to charge my robot battery I’m dead. There is also no way to fight back because when you find and egg it hatches into a basic enemy and your robot can’t attack that enemy or the egg and the turret you can summon can only kill basic enemy if it hits them 10 times while the turret is destroyed in 4 hits so you would need 3 turrets to kill a basic enemy but you can summon only 1 turret. Also the egg has as much hp as enemy that hatch from it so it also needs to be hit 10 times by the turret but you can only summon 1 turret and than you have to wait for cooldown so if you find 2 eggs in different spots you can only get rid of one and the other one will hatch an enemy that will kill you if you get near making part of the world too dangerous to explore. Also the worlds are created by RNG so at start you need much coal and iron but I got some words with much sand and gold and almost no coal. I think there is never enough coal close to you. Another funny bug is that when you lose hp because of low battery all you need to do is to be hit by a basic enemy and to run away and you can play the game with 0% battery without the risk of dying as long as you don’t get hit by enemy again. To know where is what type of resource I had to constantly click on each square and read the info as many of them look similar. There are some portals that should spawn enemies but I didn’t even had time to check that as most of the time one basic enemy from egg or battery bug killed me.
Conclusion
Right now there are many better survival and building games to play and this game is unplayable because of bugs. Maybe after a few years this game will be worth some money and time to play? Overall score 2/10
Game is extremely rough (e.g. mouse-only control scheme for the most part with (almost) no hotkeys, "amusing" bugs like buying hundreds of items at once if you interact with the shop while paused, etc). Developer seems to have the (sadly far too common) misconception that tedium and RNG equals game balance. I _did_ have some fun with the game by working around the worst of the annoyances - but as it turns out said workarounds are considered bugs and will be getting patched out. (General PSA: the proper response to "X is annoying even with Y workaround" is not to nerf Y and ignore X. This is how you get players never actually providing feedback about the game - or in my case just leaving and moving on.) Considering that it is in early access, the same game with a different set of developer responses I might cautiously recommend. Given the responses that _have_ been given however, I cannot recommend this.
Update: The price of this game has increased to $15 since I wrote my review. At $5, this game was an ok buy, but now, at a full price of $15, I do not see the value in playing this at that price in the current state. If the price was increased after many updates and Early Access ended, then I would be fine with that, but there are no listed updates in January of 2022 when the game went from $5 to $15. The last update current update listed as of 6/27/2022 was March 6, 2021. I did recommend this before, but now I can not. This game has lots of potential. I liked it even though I didn't know what I was doing during the first 40 minutes of playing. During the whole first run, I looked for how to charge my robot's battery. Do not forget that you have another robot to be summoned to fight for you. Also, the icons are very small on a 4K screen, making it hard to see what I was doing. Some enemies look just like Doctor Who's enemies. This is a very cheap game at only $5, and it is worth trying out. There is a demo, too, if you want to try this game out before you buy it. The game has a potential , it need more updates. it need some times to learn how to play, but once you managed to survive the first wave it become a straight forward to continue playing.
Ein Monat nach Release is das Spiel schon Tot . Also Hände Weg es lohnt sich nicht .
