Portal Journey: Portarius

Very fun, but very short. I was able to complete it in less than 2 hours, but I also simply could not stop playing. Hoping for another one, or some DLC maybe. If you like 2d gravity/physics based puzzle games (bonus if you like Portal), it's definitely worth checking out. I would just recommend getting it when it's on sale.

I was delighted to be gifted a key and streamed this game on Twitch. Taking my time to get through it, I spent 4 hours or so relaxing & enjoying the experience, playing all the way through in one go. The music and art was cute & chill, as was the gameplay. It has clever maps and mechanics that were delightful. A couple people in my chat pointed out even the color-scheme was like Portal, but the devs admit it's Portal-inspired, and in m opinion it's a totally different type of game so I don't think it's ripping off another game at all. Plus Steam approved it and Valve made Portal so they must have seen it as just fine. I give it a thumbs up :-)

Have been absolutely having a blast playing this game! Other than the fact that I lost some sleep last night cause I decided to play it at an odd time haha, I have thoroughly enjoyed it thus far. If you are a fan of the Portal games then you will enjoy this game immensely! I love the fact that the physics are spot on in the levels, although that led to my demise in some of my level times. Would recommend the game at full price, but grab it at the discount while you can!!! Pretty good portal-like 2d game. Has some pretty hard levels in it, overall graphics style is really nice. In-game music isn't exactly my thing, but that's more of a personal preference. Definitely suitable for children and grown-ups alike.

Such a fun puzzle game!! a good amount of levels with more to come, and with a leaderboard it makes you want to keep trying to get that top spot! I was the first allowed to play the game before it came to steam and have loved the development road since i have been on. The Devs are super cool and listen to criticizm and want honest feedback to improve their game. I had the honor of chatting with them during a play through and just very down to earth and humble. Im excited to see what is added and highly recommend this chill puzzle game that not only works your mind but reflexes! will be uploading gameplay with dev and will edit review with link 9/10 !!

This game is a blast. It is quite challenging and can be frustrating at times. For me those are desirable traits in a puzzle game. The physics in this game are surprisingly good / fun. I was not expecting it to work the way it did so that was a pleasant surprise. The game play is crisp and the art is quite good. The devs are definitely passionate and have already made a few updates since going live. Overall, I give it an 8/10. Only points I'm knocking off is because it is kind of short. In just over an hour I got through the first two campaigns. That being said, you can definitely go back and try to get the high score.

Ein schönes kleines Rätselspiel für zwischendurch. Bisher habe ich nur das erste Kapitel gespielt und da waren die Rätsel angemessen schwer - beim ein oder anderen Rätsel musste man einen kurzen Moment grübeln, aber insgesamt super, um die Zeit zu vertreiben. Nach jedem der 16 Rätsel im 1. Level wird eine Leaderboard-Liste angezeigt, anhand der man seine Geschwindigkeit und Geschick vergleichen kann. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass das für Speedrunner und diejenigen, die es werden wollen, eine schöne Alternative sein kann. Die Musik untermalt das Spiel perfekt und ist angenehm anzuhören.

A 2D physics puzzle game where the main concept is shooting portals that allow teleporting (the influence is obvious but this goes to its own direction). There is possibly a potentially interesting game hidden somewhere here, but at the moment the execution makes this mostly frustrating: such a basic concept as deciding which type of portal you are shooting is missing, you always alternate between the two, and since they nevertheless require some positioning, the game becomes very annoying very quickly. And the swimming-in-jelly-physics do not exactly help. Only one level is unlocked at a time so if you get stuck, no dice. And early on I already got to a level where I pretty much figured what I am supposed to do but with this execution trying to get this done would just take grinding to hit exactly the right pixels at exactly the right moments to get further, and frankly I'm not convinced it's worth the effort.

I was waiting for long time, after first trailer, but finally you guys manage to release it! First of all, the game is exactly like I expected, big thanks to designers, graphics look really strong, also, water levels is really fun.
