Pocket Rumble is a streamlined, beginner-friendly 2-button fighting game that retains all the gameplay elements that make traditional 2D fighters great, but reduces the level of execution and memorization necessary to the bare minimum.

Very good fighting pixel game!
I hadn't played a fighter in my life before Pocket Rumble and within a few hours I was having a great time with my friends. A dozen hours after that, my buddy and I keep learning new nuances to the gameplay. Looking forward to dozens more. :)
Tenchi is cool. I love Tenchi. Tenchi is life, Get this game to EVO.

its really good at teaching you fighting games.
Fun little game to pass some time. It's design philosophies grew on me and were fun to practice for other 2D fighters I was trying to learn at the time: Fighterz, 3rd Strike, and Guilty Gear Strive. For such a cheap cost it has a decently deep roster that is all fun to play and lab against the bots. Combos felt easy and were simple to apply to other characters once you feel ready. For example, many things you can do on Tenchi also apply in a similar way to Quinn. It's way easier for me to put time into, in between classes and while I'm bored than things like Rivals of Aether or GGST (Strive.) The main downside I would say is just don't expect to match anyone online. This is definitely a hand warmer of a game for me and not an actual "game." Matching anyone is impossible and that stifles the basic competitive nature of a fighting game. So if you aren't a fan of fighting bots and want more single-player content outside of my career, there isnt really much else here. However, for 5 bucks, this game is a fantastic party game and time passer.
