Ich habe lange gehadert, ob ich mir dieses Spiel kaufe... Ich liebe Burgen und so schien mir diese Simulation wie für mich gemacht. Einzig abgeschreckt hat mich die Tatsache, dass das Spiel bisher anscheinend noch recht leer und unbelebt scheint. Nachdem ich vor Kurzem die Festung Hohensalzburg besucht habe, wollte ich diesem Spiel eine Chance geben und eine tolle Burg bauen. Leider wurde mein erster Eindruck nicht getäuscht: - Sprache "Deutsch" nicht unterstützt - kein Tutorial - keine Menschen vorhanden - keine wirtschaftliche oder militärische Herausforderung, nur Bauen - seit Erscheinen im Dezember 2016 kein einziges Update - viele Menüs / Funktionen noch "under construction" Ich habe das Spiel kurz angespielt und bin enttäuscht. Ich hoffe auf baldige Updates und Erweiterungen. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt langweilig und zu wenig Inhalt. Schade!

A futur nice game where you need to build castles. At the moment, it's just a "sand castle" game. But, I hope there will be soon a story mode or a survival mod where you need some supplies and where you can build your own "mini army". The castle building mod (a little bit saddly, the only feature avaiable now) is very well done except that the towers look often very "flat". I hope that there will be soon an update with the engineer mod and a flat map. Thanks to the devellopers for that future great game.

Nach lange Warten für mich ist das Spiel PlayFortress heute endlich erschienen! Meine Erwartungen waren sehr hoch, da es schon als "besseres" Banished gefeiert wurde. Das Spiel ist noch Early Access-Spiel, dies merkt man auch noch, da man heute nur in einem "Freien-Modus" spielen kann, dass heißt, man kann "nur bauen", quasi als Gott. Leider gibt es noch keine Menschen, die die Stadt zum Leben erwecken. Doch die Baumöglichkeiten, die sich offenbaren sind HAMMER, man kann Türme und Mauern individuell bauen und verbinden. Optisch ist es sehr gut gelungen, es ist alles sehr schön und auch die Gebäude haben kleine aber feine Unterscheide. Der Preis für die momentane Leistung ist noch sehr hart an der Grenze, da es sehr viel Potenzial hat, aber für den Preis von 20,- aktuell noch zu wenig Leistung bringt. Somit für Freunde von Bausimulationen jetzt schon geeignet, für alle anderen heißt es lieber noch warten. Bin zweigeteilt, ob ich es gut oder noch zu unfertig halten soll, genauso, aber ich es behalte oder doch die Rückgabe einreiche und es mal noch beobachte

Nice idea, a bit like a better version of Stronhold with reasonable graphics requirements. But I think the game needs a ♥♥♥♥ ton of development. You can't zoom in really close, many of the tools are bugged such as placing decoration on buildigns parallelly will always end up in a total mess. And the algorithm that recognizes how far you are going from the ground is REALLY bugged. Buildings somehow float above the grass or create weird sort of platforms around them, and you can not place a door in a keep on ground-level due to this thing. It makes a bit of fun, but I did ask for a refund because 20€ is way too much for this.

Game must be played in 1080, if played in 4k it will not fill the screen rotation doesnt line up properly little content $20 dollars is too much to start asking right now, either wait to open to EA or lower price

The kind of freedom this game offers is unparalleled in the history of sandboxes. I hope they continue to add more content and add different architectural styles as well as the ability to place enemy and friendly soldiers for battle simulations..that would bring this game into the god tier and put everyone else to shame. Keep up the good work guys! I hope you continue to update the game in the future.

This is an early access game with great potential. Any fans of the original Stronghold or Stronghold Crusader games should certainly put this on their wishlist and keep an eye on the developments. The interface is very nice and everything is simple and logical in how it has been designed. The ability to change the size, shape and style of wall / tower is a much needed improvement compared to the Stronghold games, as is the much greater variety of tower shapes to choose from. I look forward to the future development of the game and hope that the team actually keep to their 12 month schedule and fully complete the game.

I like what I have seen of this game, especially in such early access. With at least 12 months of development before the scheduled release date, trust me when I say, it does not take long to see the quality here, click the follow button for this one! This is an overall great game with many possibilities in the present and the future. Although, I would suggest holding off on buying the game so soon as it still needs to be updated so more features are added. But, for being one of the only games that allows historically accurate castle building, it is by far the best.
