If you're comparing this to Overcooked when thinking of buying it, here's how I compare the two: Overcooked was a much higher stress and faster-paced game, but Plate Up! is actually more relaxing. I like that it's a roguelike type of game, and losing actually just makes the game easier. I like it far more than Overcooked, and I recommend you give it a try if Overcooked was stressful for you, but you liked the gameplay.
Extremely addictive. It is not just a cooking game. The automation possibilities change everything. It is like Overcooked met Factorio. I love it! It is really nice to play with someone else!
The game isn't hard, it's just annoying. I failed the tutorial because instead of picking up the steak from the stove it took it from the fridge next to it, the targeting is really inaccurate, and by the time ?I binned the raw steak and ran back to the cooker it was burned. Then in a regular game, I was forced to take a sauce recipe but very vague instructions on how to prepare it, and it took so long to cook the first customer failed the game for me. In "roguelike" games like this, I feel it should be me versus the game, not me versus the controls or the RNG. I really felt like I was failing because the game doesn't work correctly and doesn't explain the mechanics properly. No idea why it's so highly rated.
Love the game, hate the customers.
mom help im addicted to making pizzas and feeling so stressed that when the day ends i drop my controller like it was a vice
Rougelike Overcooked! This is so much fun solo and with friends with a ton of different dishes to choose from. I think it's less infuriating than Overcooked because you get to choose the challenges making any pain at least partly self inflicted. The game also enable automation with the right circumstances which is so fun to achieve!
Very good very nice

첫인상은 오버쿡드였는데 하다 보니 공장장 시뮬레이터.
We opened a restaurant. We closed it due to friendship issues.
