Planetary Dustoff

This is a great contained rogue-lite with excellent replay value. The keywords for this hit all the right notes with me, I'm a sucker for high octane rogue-lites such as Nuclear Throne and Enter the Gungeon, and this fits in right in with that crew. It's a bit too simple to say its a game ill play hundreds of hours like the previously mentioned games, but it definitely has me enjoying what it does offer, and this is a game I can easily recommend.

Planetary Dustoff is a very solid game even though it is only in Early Access, the core gunplay and mechanics feel responsive, the sound effects have punch, and I love the attention to detail (you can see your reflection when you walk over a puddle etc.). Seeing as I only have a few hours under my belt, it wouldn't be fair for me to talk about content. However, I do have a suggestion that is gameplay related: The melee animations for weapons aren't quite aligned with the area of effect that they damage when swung (e.g. the arch of a sword doesn't link up with what it actually hits). I am looking forward to seeing this game develop over time. (This review is primarily for the developers)
