love this game so far
Un juego muy Entretenido y Diferente de los demás. Buena Jugabilidad, Graficos e Historia. Aún siendo un Acceso Anticipado es definitivamente Recomendable.
jogo dahr no estilo pokemon
This game is exactly what it promises; It's a Creature Collector Roguelike If you're wondering if you should get this game; It's in it's infancy stage. There's an immense lack of content, 1 map, and runs that you'll likely get frustrated with due to the game feeling unbalanced. If the concept sounds cool enough to deal with those problems, then it's definitely worth it. If any of that is a deal breaker, then wait for it to get more updates or full release. I always do Pros/Cons, but since this is early early access, I'm also listing "Quality of Life" updates that aren't necessarily cons, but things I assume anyone that enjoys these genres of gaming would agree with getting fixed in the game Pros - You pick your starter then the paths are randomized (The map looks fairly the same every time but the slots change what they are) - Weaknesses and resistances play a big role in how your strategic battles play out, and it's random so you don't ever have complete control - There's perks to running through the game over and over (Not a lot right now, but I expect there to be a lot more content by the time they're done. There's maybe 15 "Pixels" atm, but the slots aren't even all filled in the Database and it has a slot for a 999 Pixel. I'm sure there will be tons more content if they're aren't releasing for another 6 months minimum since they already have the game's core concept working) - Graphics are nice, and the moves are visually stimulating albeit repetitive from reuse Cons - The balance of fighting feels off. Some moves have abilities that are way too strong, and since the moves that only cause status effects always hit, it causes fights to get frustrating (Especially against a Pixel that knows 2 different status ailment moves because the computer will literally switch between the two over and over until they run out of the moves. It causes a fight to take WAAAAY longer than it should because you're just switching between your pixels until effects wear off. So a Pixel you can 2 shot makes a battle last 10-20 turns longer because your Pixels are getting put to Sleep or Charmed over and over) - Very little content atm (If you're looking for something meaty that you can sink hours into, this isn't at that state in development yet) - There's absolutely no way to grind. That's 90% of a Creature Collector game and it doesn't exist here (Maybe being able to redo spaces you're on or fight endlessly in arenas could curb this complaint) Quality of Life Updates - Leaving the arena after every fight to heal is a bit ridiculous. You have to back out of the arena, go to the clinic, heal, back out of the clinic, enter the arena, then start the next fight. There should be a healing system between the arena matches so you don't have to do all that leg work when 99% of the time you're literally just going to do the next battle - Switching between Pixels in the moves menu would be nice instead of having to back out to go into the other Pixels - Charm is broken. In a roguelke game where you get such limited control over how much money you get, its insane to think that it's okay for your Pixel to GIVE AWAY YOUR ITEMS and you don't get them back. I can get it lowering attack and refusing to hit (which it also does), but giving items away is too much - Your moves refreshing after each battle feels broken for balance as well. I can fight 1 Pixel, use all of my moves, then be fine after. Meanwhile, battles with 3 Pixels feel like a strategy game with inventory management of my own moves more than a straight fight. My suggestion is to up the amount of times you can use moves, then refresh them at Clinics/leveling up and switching your moves - The spaces for battling another Pixel "Coach" are the same space as getting an encounter battle where the Pixel will join you. It's already random with the pathing and getting to those spaces with enough HP to complete them, why also make it possible to not get a Pixel in those spaces? I feel like those spaces should be marked differently, because it's a major difference to get to the last arena with 6 Pixels as opposed to 3. - There's no scrolling through the world map to see what paths you'd want to take. If this is on purpose instead of not thought about, that's a very bad decision for a roguelike. Giving minimal control to a person, then adding a blind pathing through your world will cause the replay value to plummet. My mission in the game atm is
to beat the eye, but the amount of crawling to get back to it after every loss is a massive amount of guesswork and luck, (and that's not even discussing getting the correct Pixels/Moves to make this possible) that makes me not want to continue trying in the state the game is at right now (I probably will anyways because I'm fairly stubborn). The perks you get between runs doesn't make your runs any easier (You get a few healing items and some starting money, but it's not even enough to buy anything worthwhile and the only item you get that's worth anything is one revive)
I'll be checking up on this when more updates come, but it was a fun run through and neat concept. I really hope it doesn't get abandoned like so many other Early Access games and they actually take the players thoughts into consideration
Decent game, but not quite enough content yet. I feel like I experienced everything the game has to offer after 'beating' the first run. It is very much a clone of Pokemon battles for better and worse. I do think this game is recommendable, with the caveat that it also may be something you want to wait until the full release to get a more comprehensive experience. 6.5 / 10 currently, but I see potential of an 8/10 or higher down the line.
This Game is Simple. I Beat both zones on my first Run. If you've played pokemon or any game like it, this will be a cake walk... on your first run. Once you've beat it once, you can start raising the difficulty for subsequent runs. harder runs means better rewards. It hurts that the game hasn't been updated in a while, It has potential. I hope it's just slow work at the moment, cause this really is a good concept.
