the gameplay is fun
Absolutely love the game. Played it mostly on PlayStation before buying it on Steam, never regretted buying multiple copies (especially on sale lol). Love how the game feels to play, love the co op (when you can find people). Don’t really have much else to say besides that I definitely recommend the game, ESPECIALLY on sale. 👍
Just awful, a real disappointment. I'm not sure how the rock solid foundation laid out in the first game was ignored, or why they made the decisions they made in adapting this to 3D, but almost all of the choices are wrong. All this needed to be was more maps for Monsters 1, and maybe some new enemies and towers. Instead it's 3D, and badly executed. You can't play with a camera where you can see everything that is happening, you can choose between overhead seeing some of the map, or behind the back but zoomed in way too close to be usable. You can hold a button to see the correct overhead view, so it exists in the game, but you can't move or play while viewing from that angle, for no reason at all. I say it's the correct view, it's too far out, and shows parts of the map that are often not actually accessible and don't even need to exist. I have no idea how anyone working on this could have played Monsters 1, then a test build of this, and not immediately started over. The only thing this improves is the screenshots, which is probably why all the changes were made, and why it's terrible. I hope this sold way worse, it's a deserved failure on all fronts.
very fun game, always loved the original and this one is just that but better and 3d peak
Bought this hoping it was like the first one. Only playing a few hours im glad i only paid $2cad for it. Its nowhere near as enjoyable, the map focus areas are annoying, the game itself is nicely polished but i feel to call this a sequel it missed all the marks.
This game is one of the most relaxing tower defense games ever. I LOVE IT. For what this game is I give it a 8 out of 10.
looks cool but it's poorly made. Extremely frustrating and filled with beginners traps. Most aspects seem way underdeveloped, like its more of a tech demo than an actual game. cool idea but there's probably better options.
Pure Remastered Nostalgia
simply but satisfying gameplay, lovely art style, addictive gameplay
