Опробовано на Steam Deck

COMPRENLO PUTOS
If you want a pure arcady football game, this does the job. Everything, gameplay, design, sound and modes are all fine. But still, there are fun. There are no shortage of football games out there and a lot that are better than this. But if you're looking for something cheap and easy to pick up, you cant really go wrong.
I love the art style but I don't like the gameplay. It feels janky and not fun. The career mode is not interesting enough either. Better play kunio kun nekketsu soccer league on NES.

Didn't like career mode. Starting team is pathetic.
Got offsides for shooting the ball after it bounced off the goalpost. All the opposing team's players are just faster with a bunch of skills unlocked. More grind to win slop
Pixel Cup Soccer: Ultimate Edition is an energetic arcade football game developed and published by BATOVI Games. It takes the familiar appeal of classic pixel-era sports games and reshapes it into a modern, content-rich package built around quick matches, exciting goals, simple controls, and a strong sense of personality. Instead of trying to imitate realistic football simulations, it focuses on speed, accessibility, and the joy of immediately understandable gameplay. This makes it especially appealing for players who miss old-school football titles where the fun came from timing, positioning, and fast reactions rather than complicated command systems. The game’s biggest strength is how easy it is to pick up without feeling shallow. Passing, shooting, tackling, sprinting, and dribbling all feel direct and responsive, allowing even new players to enjoy a match almost immediately. At the same time, the game rewards practice through smarter movement, better defensive reads, cleaner finishing, and more effective use of space. Matches can become chaotic, but that chaos is part of the charm. A loose ball in the box, a sudden counterattack, or a dramatic last-minute shot can quickly turn an ordinary game into something memorable. Its presentation is also one of its strongest qualities. The pixel art is colorful, expressive, and full of retro charm, giving the game a cheerful identity that stands apart from larger football franchises. The animations are simple but lively, and the stadium atmosphere adds enough energy to make each match feel active and competitive. The visuals do not aim for realism, but they succeed at creating a playful and nostalgic mood that perfectly fits the arcade design. The amount of content gives the game more staying power than a simple casual sports title. Players can enjoy friendly matches, tournaments, and a Career Mode where they can build and guide a club over time. Career Mode adds a useful layer of progression because it gives matches more purpose beyond just winning a single game. Building a team, improving performance, and moving through competitions help create a stronger sense of attachment to the club and players. Customization options also add value, letting players adjust teams, tactics, formations, and match settings to suit their preferred style. Multiplayer is another major reason the game works so well. Pixel Cup Soccer: Ultimate Edition is at its best when played with friends, whether competitively or cooperatively. The fast pace and simple controls make it suitable for party-style play, while the tactical possibilities still allow skilled players to separate themselves from beginners. Local multiplayer and remote play support help preserve the couch-play spirit that inspired the game, making it a strong choice for groups who want a football game that is exciting without being overly technical. The game may not satisfy players looking for a realistic simulation. Player movement, ball physics, and match flow are intentionally exaggerated, and some moments can feel unpredictable. Defensive mistakes, wild rebounds, or sudden shifts in momentum may frustrate those who prefer precise realism. However, these same qualities are also what give the game its arcade identity. It is not trying to replace serious football simulators; it is offering a faster, lighter, and more spontaneous alternative. Overall, Pixel Cup Soccer: Ultimate Edition is a polished and enjoyable arcade football game with a strong retro soul. Its combination of simple controls, charming pixel art, varied modes, meaningful customization, and excellent multiplayer energy makes it easy to recommend to fans of classic sports games. It delivers the kind of football experience that feels immediately fun while still offering enough depth and content to keep players coming back. For anyone who values excitement, nostalgia, and accessible competition over strict realism, this is a very worthwhile pick. Rating: 8/10
