Pixel Cup Soccer - Ultimate Edition

The passing and shooting controls are bad, lazily implemented. At least on keyboard, it's a clunky 8-directional imprecise mess. The UI is obnoxious and overcomplicated. With more time, I'm certain I'd find more issues with stuff like stupid friendly and enemy AI. That's the long and short of it - it just feels bad to actually play soccer in this game. That being said, this game has a lot of "polished" features. Many of them feel rather stupid, misplaced, and unnecessary, but still, it must be said that a lot of genuine effort was put into many minor details in this game. I bought this game as reference for making my own. I'd only recommend someone else to do so if they had similar reasons, especially bc there's no demo to actually, you know, try out this version of the game and consequently discover its bad controls for yourself. It's a shame - clearly someone or some people with skills worked on this game. But it sells itself short by how much time went into appearances instead of gameplay. They could have made something far better, but instead it's just "fancy but trashy" in execution.

Excelente jogo de futebol em pixel Jogabilidade prática, mas não é tão fácil assim, pois tem que pegar a prática na base de jogatinas e treinos, pois para jogar bem, cada jogador, clube ou seleção tem suas habilidades especiais. Deixando assim o game mais dinâmico e legal para se jogar solo ou online em dezenas de campeonatos, ligas, torneios e copas.

It's a very fun arcade futbol game. While I haven't sunk my teeth into career mode yet, I really have enjoyed the multiple features of the game. One of my favorites being that you can see what today's matchups are, and play as one of those teams with the current roster. It's really cool. As far as gameplay goes: it's fluid, makes sense, and is customizable to your liking. Ultimately a really fun game. So far, the only bug I've found is that when I'm fouled in the box and get set for a penalty kick, the game refuses to move forward. Everyone stands around. I have tried changing sides, switching both to CPU, and so far the only remedy is to restart the match. This has happened to me twice now in close games and is a shame not being able to see the match properly conclude. For reference, this has happened both on my Windows PC and on Steam Deck. Alas, I am looking forward to playing more despite this minor bug, and would highly recommend to anyone interested in a fun futbol/succer game.
