-Weird -Janky -Story goes nowhere -Charming -Great music -Weird art that somehow works effectively at setting the mood -Fun combos when you aren't dealing with an endless hail of projectiles Honestly like... with that list, I wouldn't normally recommend this, but this is more than the sum of its parts. Just don't play it on No Mercy like I did. Feels way mashier than it should as a result. You're playing this for vibes and combat more than anything. Also that scene with the Danny Brown song was weird as ♥♥♥♥ and seemed like something I would've made when I was 15 but I also feel like the game would be lesser without it? Just like... recommend this if you're looking for something short and weird without a particularly strong story but with extremely strong vibes and music. (also honestly Did That Just Move? is one of the most frustrating bosses I've ever fought against because of its lack of choreographed attacks. It always goes in the same predetermined pattern so it could be a lot worse, but like... still. Awful.)
hikayesi ve sürükleyiciliği harika
(game complete at 2.2 hours of gameplay at time of review, part of my review all my games effort) (short version) Absolutely a great game and worth a look, $10 is a great price and I'd pay even up to $20. An artistic style I haven't seen yet, I played from start to finish without stopping. Sure the graphics are a bit rough but graphics don't matter if your game is just this damn good. A true gem in the desert of gaming. (long version) At the start I was a bit worried about this game but oh my god I'm glad I didn't try to skip the main scene, or just give up in frustration, because of dealing with the frequent disappointing games I've been going though. This was an absolute joy to play, start to finish and I'm even going to play the new game + (which is very rare for me). The graphics of the main game are a bit rough but anyone who says "Graphics are the most important part of gaming." is lying to themselves. Pac man and so many classic games have crap graphics compared to today, and they're timeless classics for a reason. $10 is a bargain for what you get with this game, and I'd pay up to $20 personally. I'm looking for more from the developer in the future. The good: The artistic style is something I've not seen in a game, and I doubt I'll ever see it again. You can tell the developer truly gave a crap about what they were doing, and didn't just write this off for a pay check. The combat is simple but still engaging, the boss fights (on normal) telegraph well and don't feel cheap, and the music keeps you engaged and immersed the whole time. The fact that it's set up for new game + doesn't feel like a gimmick and in fact I'm excited for another go around. I'm truly shocked that this game is only listed as "very positive" right now as I've seen a few "overwhelmingly positive" games that are just mid at best. The bad: Nothing I can really say is bad about the game, though if you're in a depressive mood I'd recommend steering clear until you're mind is more centered.
Pilli Bebek.
good :)
视觉上是真的没什么吸引力,但是也不劝退人。算是一款优秀的独立游戏了,讲述了一个有精神问题的女孩移民国外的悲伤故事。在一个充满人的世界里感到孤独。游戏没什么难度也不需要什么操作。
This is the most I said 'wtf' in 2 hours time, and I work in public services. Would recommend though.
I wasn't sure what to think at first, but I stuck with it and it grew on me. What a weird and awesome journey. Very unique. Recommend.
The visuals are great, the art style is unique, unsettling and ugly but it fits the game perfectly. I loved it. The gameplay was a lot of fun, janky but you get the hang of it, simple enemies and simple combat but very challenging. The story’s a bit corny and occasionally boring, but everything else more than makes up for it. Definitely worth playing for the art and gameplay alone.
Weird game with weird enemies with bad names. Felt like i was thrown into the middle of the story. Got this from a bundle. I'm not usually playing 2D fighting platformer. I didnt get interested in the story. The viuals is... okay. Music... not bad Controls... you can change the key bindings, thats good. There is minor things i didnt like. But the monsters was the biggest reason. The game is not for me.
