Lost in the endless expanse of s̴p̵a̶c̵e̵, you must fight off endless hordes of inter-dimensional beings t̷o̶ ̸c̵l̵a̷i̵m̵ a few more brief moments of life. P̸̯͛i̸̲͌c̶̖͝a̵̙̔ý̵̥u̷̱̒n̸͖̓ḛ̸̔ ̷̣̕D̵̢͑r̵̰̕e̶̘̓ã̴̧m̶͉̈s̶͓̄ will challenge your skill, endurance, and perseverance through a m̸i̴n̷d̴ ̵w̴a̶r̶p̷i̶n̵g̸, psychedelic, bullet hell nightmare.
Survive hordes of nightmarish creatures. This game does not favor passive builds, and will require you to stay on your toes, weaving through enemies and incoming attacks, while collecting resources and upgrades when and where you can. Modify your runs with limited elements of roguelite progression.
A gauntlet of Bullet Hell bosses will test both your defenses and offenses. These high-octane, punishing battles are be driven by a pulse-pounding, glitchcore soundtrack from Milkypossum.
Immerse yourself in a psychedelic atmosphere, filled with secrets, that will keep you guessing at every turn. The more you think you know of the story, the more layers you'll find to peel back. The story elements are largely option, but will provide depth and context for players who wish to explore every corner of Picayune Dreams.
Taking inspiration from a varied collection of our favourite games: Vampire Survivors (roguelike horde survival), Touhou (true bullet hell), Yume Nikki (surrealist visual stylings and secrets), and Diablo (power scaling and item visualization).

me likey it makes my brain work cool and awesome
Love this game.
Thought i won't like this bullet hell x vampire survivors game because i had no bullet hell experience prior to this game, but now i think i love it with all of honesty. Graphics are nothing crazy obviously. It has it's charm of being a bit psychedelic, and a lot of it reminds me of some oldschool games that would render the 3d models into animation sprites in same fashion. The story is a bit of a classic of "evil corporation and self-destructive humanity" with a pretty cool allegory at the main end. There are 3 endings in total in this game. Or at least 3 that i have encountered. The gameplay is main juice of the game, it's very addicting and fun. I loved every aspect of it and is definitely the reason as to why you would want to play it. To describe frankly - stage-based build creator. You damage enemies, get exp from them and level up, which lets you choose 1 upgrade between 3 offered. Each stage becomes progressively more difficult and having a good build will always be important to progress. At the end of each stage there is always a boss. Bosses are the main reason as to why this game is a bullet hell. The music is something i'd like to point out separately cuz it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. There is nothing else to describe but to say that all of it is intense. Overall Picayune Dreams is just an awesome game that i would personally recommend to play. Worth the full price of it.
A beautiful blend of Bullet Hell and Bullet Heaven, topped off with roguelike elements. I got obsessed with this game and managed to 100% it in less than a week. 10/10, would absolutely play PEAKayune Dreams again.
Easily my favourite of the survivors-like genre that I’ve played so far. Refuses to explain ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about itself due to its incomprehensible UI so you’ve gotta experiment to find stuff out, but I found all of the items and weapons strangely satisfying. The aesthetic and music might be the best things about this game, but there’s also a super compelling narrative with characters I grew attached to enough to see the true ending (which is locked behind a particularly tough challenge in my opinion).
itse a bullet hell game with dress up elements
I like this. I have not beat it but it was a fun time. Sadly POE 1 and 2 and wow have gotten in the way of solo games. I shall return.
