Tout l'univers est beau, l'ambiance, les décors... Une agréable surprise
It is interesting and for that I would recommend it. It is presented in an slick manner, the elements shown in during gameplay only gaining in richness on repeated playthroughs. I don't think it sticks the landing on some matters (The mechanics that underlie this game are nice, but they seem to break down a little in the latter half) and lets hope the point of the story was not some philosophical manifesto, that would be jejune. Otherwise the scant and avoidant writing only aided this narrative.
I liked everything about this nicely looking point and click until the Oasis that seemed a bit too far out considering how traditionally the game started. I finished it with a guide and I am glad I did because otherwise I would definitely drop out. I love the way it is narrated, the way it looks, didn't quite enjoy how the convoluted the
oasis
part was. Also, the sound of the voice, even at max with lowered sounds and music, was a bit too quiet at parts that have background music. Overall I had a good time but given the presentation and the unguided surrealism of the later part, I am not sure what it tries to say overall. There are motives of rebirth, repetition,
there is a loop in the loop, or is there? Is it all a fever dream? Is it even a fever dream of the main character or just dying throws of Leo. Is everyone in the oasis living until their brains deteriorate to a state where it is just husks of themselves or did they reach some profound state of consciousness that their former selves/shells were not relevant anymore? Is the whole oasis just a projection of the physical while all the bodies and their brains really reside in the underground tanks? Who knows? Does anyone? And do we need to?
Games are the best media for this kind of exploration of thought. The conclusions are not pre-packaged.
Great art and sound design, interesting story that remains appealing despite going just a tiny bit too hard on the disorientation and elusiveness for my taste. Also a lot of going back and forth which can try one's patience at times.
A gorgeous experience, but some solutions were almost impossibly hard to figure out unless exhausting every option. I'm looking at you, melody memorization.
电影级的体验非常爽,就是one-oh-one那个地方让人卡了一段时间。。整体来说制作很精美很艺术很享受!
Delivers everything it promises but expensive for the content you get. Get it next sale if you like P&C.
sanat tasarımı geçekten çok hoş ama oynanış ve kontroller çok başarısız
Beautiful and surreal, loved every minute of this trippy experience.
It's a treat to see a game so assured and confident in itself, and so willing to lean into abstraction and surrealism. Refreshing really, in a challenging sorta way. Maybe I would've liked it to cut back a little on the emotionless, cryptic distance - hell I'll be honest, I don't really know what was going on outside of vague thematic headlines - but the immaculate atmosphere and aesthetics had me from the jump. I'm sure you could dissect every detail if you so wished, but I'm satisfied just having had the haze wash over me. I hope this studio makes more stuff!
