This is a repainted (and somewhat downgraded) Xcom 1 long war. It has a couple of fun and unique mechanics but otherwise does not live up to Xcom2 and is far removed from WOTC. -lack of maps -lack of custumizations -UI eye cancer -unfinished mechanics -overall mass of clutter -slideshow cutscenes

Xcom2 + Long war looks great, its a great game with some frustrating enemies, Phoenix Point + Tftv doesnt look the same but it has way more systems and mechanics that make it so its actually better, however i enjoy the early / mid game quite a lot, the end game though, not so much, i honestly dont like getting attacked from everywhere without a hint that hey!!! i am going to be attacked from a blind side in the enemies first turn, and when you can get an arm disable and thats it for that unit, hmmm i dont know if i like that, it happened A LOT, enemy first turn, just appears from a corner one hits my unit and GG, first turn... last mission, very frustrating, i get that the vibe is that its impossible but bro, enemy spawning every turn from every corner with no stop, and you have two spawn areas right next to the boss and you are supposed to get there to hit the eyes and they just appear on their first turn and hit.... wtf.... great game just dont like the first turn hit and disable arm from a corner they just suddenly appear.
esta chido lento en agarrar que onda
Awful half implemented stealth. Sometimes you'll take high ground and can not even return fire as your own cover is all you can look at, even as an enemy sniper just popped you. Just generally bad truly. After 16 additional hours on normal difficulty, I don't think I've encountered a game that hates its players more. Every enemy is a trap to hit. You hit an enemy with a sniper rifle from across the field and they return fire with an assault rifle with perfect accuracy. I resorted to meleeing assault troopers to avoid return fire but then they get an armor that auto melees and paralyzes attackers. Fire grenades do half of your health and do damage as you attempt to get out of the fire. Its like they thought the frustration in XCOM was the point. This game is actually horrid.
gud xcom fun
had a great time on 1st campaign and mods shake things up to start new ones.
More Xcom...
A steep learning curve, loads of mods, aggravating and fun at the same time.
An XCOM successor. It's a little rough around the edges, but the core gameplay is good, and there are a lot of options to play the game the way you want to. It can be very difficult. The computer will absolutely target your weakest units and destroy them if possible. The world is unique and nuanced. The map and campaign is lengthy and you will always feel like you are one step behind. I purchased with all the dlcs and added some popular mods. I
